Visited on Friday 19th Feb 2016, Large Spoons on the north side of Central station, just off Argyll St. Bouncers on the door but no hassle getting in, place was busy, decent selection of beers on as usual. Prices were low, beer quality decent too. Got served with no issue and found a place to sit and relax for a little while before stumbling off in search of a haggis. Not the best place in Glasgow and not the worst. Handy enough for a quick scoop, especially if arriving at Central Low Level station

Oh no no no places like this a quite horrible in my opinion. Large Spoon pub that lacks everything. Ok they have some beer on tap that i had not tried before. Just a half pint and run like hell. NOT recommendable. Nice toilets! And close to The Central Station.

The usual pub before heading to nearby gigs. About what you expect from spoons.

Pretty decent selection of ales. Food is the usual Wetrherspoonís quality and value. Bar staff on the day we visited didnít seem too interested in the job. Good sized crowd, mostly watching the Ryder Cup on tv. Nice, bright Wetherspoon pub and close to Central Station which can be a good or bad point.

Bright and airy Wetherspoon handy for the main station. Itís open plan on two floors but the large floor to ceiling windows give this pub plenty of a natural light throughout the day giving it a slightly different ambiance to the handful of others, although the menus and drinks are the same of course with ales on a couple of rows of pumps.

Very open style Wetherspoons with two floors. Same as other Wetherspoons in terms of ambiance in that it has little. Service is good though & food/value is also good. Not my favourite though as even when full it seems empty with the high ceilings & massive windows. As always it has good selection

Good service to fair prices, but the interior is far too open to have any kind of atmosphere. The foreign beer selection is mundane at best. They had a Scottish beer festival going when I visited in Spring 2009, which sadly also excluded the more heavy and interesting Scottish brews.

Large Wetherspoons close to Glasgow Central Station. Surprisingly for a Wetherspoons it is well staffed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very fast food service in spite of bar being very busy. Another unusual Wetherspoons feature are multiple large screen TVs showing live football. Food as always is excellent and well priced. Upstairs is a "restaurant" bar where you queue for bar service. Very civilised. One of the better Wetherspoons.
