Was in here a couple of times over my sisters wedding weekend. Solid, apparetly constantly rotating taplist. Really, really well thought-out bottle list. They had just changed over to the mid-fall selection when I was there, so heavy on Oktoberfest and Pumpkin beers @ the time. Best selection and most craft-friendly place in town, which is welcome for generally craft-starved Savannah bars. Thatís even better given itís location immediately adjacent to the tourist/trolley center. As others have noted, it is abnormally loud with even a moderate crowd. Iíll definitely visit again.

A nice place with very good food and an impressive beer list. Itís opposite the visitor centre at the end of West Liberty, set back from the road with a small patio at the front. Itís a fairly large building dating from 1902 and has bare brick walls with some nice decorations, for example a bicycle hanging from the ceiling and a triptych centred around a La Chouffe gnome. Recommended. (Visited 18 February 2014).

Beautiful building...beautiful the brick and wood. The outside is very attractive too...especially with the outdoor patio. I love the beer collection on the wall...and the draught columns are beautiful. If you are in Savannah...this is the place...and when I say that...well really...there is no second...thatís how far above the others in Savannah The Distillery is. isnít perfect...just quite a bit above the competition in the area. The beer list is very good...especially with local beers, The Distillery is a must craftbeer visit when in Savannah...foodís good too.

stopped here while driving for a tad of a resite and lunch. friendly neckbeard barkeep offered a menu and water promptly, sould not serve for another halfhours. ac was nice a cold, prefect. the place was nice, clean, large open area, long bar. had the fried shrimp. food was served fast and it was good. finally got a Cisco Gose when he was able to serve beer. that was okay. beer selection on tap may have been good for the area, but i expected better stuuf i guess. Beers fro Ga, Pa, Vt, Nh. I ddi see some bottles of mexican cake hidden in the fridges. price for food, beer, and 18% tip was $28.

Of the many places we visited in town, this was certainly the best for quality beer. Good, varied tap selection and a hefty bottle list as backup. Staff was nice and efficient, even when the place got busy. Food was the only thing that disappointed. Our party ordered 4 different things and two were pretty bad. The food menu is pretty extensive and varied, so maybe it just comes down to knowing what things they do well and sticking to those. That aside, quality place and certainly a top-spot if youíre on a beer-only mission.

Converted storefront location, really good selection of both taps and bottles, good service by somewhat knowledgeable servers, decent food selection. A good place for a beer in Savannah. Next time Iíll have the sense to stop by during happy hour.l

Definitely Savannahís best beer bar. Although the Georgia beer scene leaves much to be desired, this place manages to get a pretty decent tap list. There are a number of local breweries featured- Carolina, Coastal Empire, Red Brick, Red Hare, and Wrecking Bar and some other American breweries, with just 2 international (BrewDog and Delerium). The place is definitely dedicated to providing great craft brew for the city and they donít serve the big macros. It is a large space with a small amount of outdoor seating, a large indoor bar and seating area. 2 large TVs in front of the bar. Prices are sweet- most beers are $2 during happy hour (pretty hard to beat), regular pricing is mostly $5-7. They have bottled beer too, nothing too exciting that I saw. The food is pretty good with a slight emphasis on seafood, but they also have really good salads (the Savannah chicken salad was quite good). Overall it was a fun place to grab a beer and certainly had the best selection of Savannah bars.
