Great Place in downtown Miami. Selection is amazing. I was there on Thursday night, the place was rockin! In true Miami style there is good looking people (working and drinking) and the food was incredible for a bar!

Club-like place in Downtown Miami. Doesn’t have pub-bar atmosphere. The number of beers on taps was impressive but somehow I wasn’t easy for me to find something in which I’d be interested. Not a really nice part of the city.

Do not be lured by the beer selection claimed in their website. The actual selection is incredibly more limited. The bar is placed in a very bad part of town, and the appalling loud music (rap? hip-hop?) drove me out without purchasing or drinking anything. I must say that the server was courteous.

OK beer place in downtown Miami. Service was OK, not very knowledgeable, but those who didn’t know their beer at least asked the other staff so they could answer our questions. Selection is large (but only 5 on tap) with lots of different countries. Most of the good beers are England, Belgium, Germany and USA, the rest of the countries is mostly pilsener/lager. They’ve recently opened a new DRB on 1st street, but we didn’t have time to check it out. Supposedly 50 beers on tap there.

Small place but not a whole in the wall type. I wish it had a better location. It’s located in a lonely street in downtown Miami. The beer selection is amazing. The menu it’s literally like 10 pages. Food is limited but very good. Nice place for a sit and chill time. It definitely came handy after frustrating presentations and master finals. Cheers!

I stopped past here before heading to Abraxas. DRB is a fairly small, characterless, modern-style beer bar. I arrived early, but there was already fairly loud dance music pumping out. They had 6 taps with a reasonable selection of Great Divide, Abita and Brooklyn on offer. Bottle selection is clearly the main selling point here. It’s laid out by country, but most of these only have a dodgy lager or two listed. They do however have a fairly extensive US list. They had some interesting stuff from DFH, CCB, Oskar Blues etc on offer, a couple of which were out of stock. A few of the best things came with a fairly hefty price tag. Staff were friendly and fairly knowledgeable. Definitely better than your average beer bar, but nothing particularly special. Perhaps I need to return later in the evening?

88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 17/20
Stopped in on a late Tuesday night. The place was fairly busy, but we were able to walk right in and sit down. The 11 page beer menu is laid out very well by country. The beer is for the most part very over priced. Most beers were in the $8 to $16 price range going all the way up to $100 a bottle. This is a bit much in my mind. The food was a little more reasonably priced when you take quality into consideration. There was a great deal of variety in the food menu as well, representing many countries. Service was very attentive from the two servers we had and our pederast were brought to us quickly, even the food. I would definitely come back here, but I just wish the pricing was a bit more in line with reality.

Tiny place on the outskirts of downtown Miami. there are a few things that make a good beer bar and the obvious ones are seating enough for comfortable drinking, good enough number of taps to keep things interested, and good enough service to keep the beer flowing, this place failed on all accounts. not enough seating in the tiny place, ONE tap, the rest in bottles, and in the hour plus i was there i was made to go up to the bar to get another beer twice because the service was so bad. not worth it.

Great selection of beer, over 400 bottles, and I think they had 1 tap. Prices, for the most part, are rather good- most bottles are around $4, many at $3 and their classier ones are well priced, too. (Double bastard for $12). The food is alright, but so over priced and under proportioned that you would be better off pretending that they don’t have a food menu. Aside from that, parking is easy to find and it’s right off a highway ramp in a nicer part of downtown (facing the Arscht Center), so I’ll probably be going there often as the days pass.
