Really great service, only 300 beers, but 70 of them really special editions and aged beers. 20 km from Barcelona, but there’s a train to Mataró. Beers on tap were a great surprise.

Best place at all in Catalonia, also best place at all in Spain. Very good people serving the best beers around the world. Very good stock of aged bottles and kegs. A good place to go, sit, drink, eat, drink, learn a lot, and drink a little bit more.

My last beer place in Spain, but finally just as in Belgium, a great selection of belgian beers, not comercial, but artisanal, lots af spontanean fermentation beers, some vinatge beers, american craft beers, Nogne, De Molen,...The service whas very good, I’ll come back for sure.

great service, beatifull place, a little bit far from Barcelona, but you can go there by tr\ain, good vintage beers and great belgian beers. On e of the best Gueuze / Lambic selection I’ve seen in a bar.

A little piece of Beer Heaven in Mataro just outside of Barcelona. The Drunk Monk is the result of extremely hard work put in by it’s great owner Sven. I am in the business myself and I can tell you that Sven is one of the most professional patrons I have met. He constantly strives to offer quality in all that he offers and does. This is a gem of a place and really worth the visit. Don’t be put off by it’s location as you will not regret the visit. Thank you Sven for all your hard work.

Is this place in Spain or in Belgium?’ I just feeled like on my holidays in Brugge, great beer place, lot’s af belgian and foreign beers. Service perfect, hard to find a free table, but you can call to reserve a table. A place to visit.

The Beer Temple, good beer selection but finally a bar with Lambic & Gueze beers, Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, Oud Beersel, Giradin, Hanssens, Boon, Tilquin, more than 30 gueze, and that pairing with a great belgian cheese menu ( Chimay Vieux, Chimay à la Bière, Hervé, Patachouffe, Watou, Brugge,...) 15 draught beers (I had Mikkeller Beer hop Breakfast, Cantillon and Tø øl First Frontier).
