Been here during the "meet the brewers" Night. The Place is decorated like a belgian abbey, the selection on tap was very good. Sven, the owner, knows how to treat you and he’s very appassionate. He showed me his cellar, and i have to say i was pretty empressed. I took back home some belgian vintages bottles and the prices were good.
For sure i will return.

After five minutes here, it was obvious that Sven has a passion for what he does. I missed the Meet the Brewers Night by one day, but I’m glad because that meant that Sven was very generously able to spend a lot of time with me, and share some amazing beers. His cellar has taken years to fully develop, and is now better than most specialty beer bars in Belgium itself - especially his collection of lambik and geuze! All night a steady stream of locals of all ages came through to try various beers and to seek advice from The Man himself, which created a very special atmosphere where everyone is comfortable, at any experience level. Truly worthy of a beer pilgrimage to visit this place, Sven, and all his friends.

Decoración típica de abadía con fastfood. Pero la selección de cerveza es espectacular tanto de grifo como de botella. Gran trato personal

A place to go, the beer selection is great, with brands from many countries, but what I really enjoy is all those lambic and gueze beers, some rare editions, I had the Bzard from Oud Beersel, where else can you find this beer? Hanssens, De Cam, Cantillon, Girardin, 3 Fonteinen, ...all of them. Also vintage beers , Chimay Gran Reserve from several years. Food: well you can have some burgers and sausages, but they have a good belgian cheese selection, some lof the Hervé Cheeses, one of my favourites.

Frutos secos y camareras guapas. El bar perfecto.

two-day trip to Mataró to see what the beer festival at The Drunk Monk was. Lots of people, great atmosphere, they announced that Lervig, Struise and Kernel would be there, but they did not, but well their beers (Macadam impressive, Woody Albert, Unionol, ...) I had occasion to meet Jens of HaandBryggeriet, Bruno from Toccalmatto, Valter from Loverbier, John from De Molen and Glenn from Alvinne. Very, very good beers on draft , launching the new ESB, a European Beer Sour. Only one thing that I missed, knowing how it should be without a beer festival, so I will come back for sure. Maybe it is not the best place in Spain, but well worth a visit.
