fantastic ambiance, but a bit of pretense. service is trying to be very upscale, but comes off slightly ironic in an irritating way.
Selection is mostly harder to find imports. high end beers, definitely, but none of the great local/domestic producers we have here. Maybe thatís their concept, and I get it, but itís not the "perfect" mix of rare and less-rare-but-still-amazing-and-loved, so no 15 rating for selection.
Prices areínt too far of a deviation in either direction from every other place in the area.
Worth checking out. You will probably find a beer there that you hjavenít had before.
Visted during Philly Beer Week/RBSG 2011. This place is something else. Had about 25 Mikkellers on tap when I was there. Had a charcuterie plate that was pretty tasty as well as some popcorn. This place is super "rustic." I think thatís the feel they are going for. Candle lights hanging from the highly wooded interior. Pretty over the top, including the dress of the bartenders. I almost felt like I was tripping when I was here, but maybe I was just a little too hungover.

Went to this place for the first time during Philly beer week - sort of disappointed I never knew about this place while I was living in Philly. Great bar area and ambiance - extremely friendly and helpful servers. When we were here they had 30 Mikkellers so Iím not too familiar with their normal selection. Def want to hit this place up again.
Stopped by here during Philly Beer Week, Mikkeller event. 25 Mikkeller beers on tap with 2 I actually havenít had before! Live music, nice decor, and all around good time. Did not eat here though and Iíve read some local reviews on the food, but will leave judgement until I actually try the food here.

First rating?? Cool place. The weather was nice so they had the large front doors/windows wide open for the open air to flow through. High ceilings. Nice bar, not that many seats. Awesome cheese station right next to the bar. I went during philly beer week and there were 20 Mikkeller beers on draft! Probably not the norm but the bottle selection was good and worth coming back for. Food was great and reasonably priced for Philly. Lots of Euro beer available. I will be back!!
