This place is indeed a must if you are in the area with a great beer menu. Hill Farmstead, Heady, Alesmith and a bunch of other were available. The food was the real kicker though with super great juicy hamburger with fresh local blue cheese. My kid’s mac and cheese and shrimp tacos were also excellent. Service was excellent and prices were fair for the quality of food and drinks.

Very popular stuff, limited booking possibilities and otherwise, just get a buzzer and wait for your turn. An old McDonals improved for the best with the best beer selection in Burlington, especially now that Flatbread has abandonned the guest stuff. Centrally located, featuring lots of rarer bottles for those who are not satisfied with the already very good tap list. Attentive staff. The food is very good, but not quite as killer as some people make it and not particularly cheap. I mean, I’m always satisfied, but never really impressed considering the popularity and general goodness of Vermont local ingrédients - including the cheeses of which they always have a nice array here. Always one or two Hill Farmstead beers on tap which is always nice.

Visited June 21, 2013, in the afternoon. I wanted to come here for lunch, but I would have arrived too late and I was hungry! So I drank two beers, I wanted a drink one, but I saw the Alchemist Heady Topper, what the hell not! They have a great beer list and the foos look good. I went for lunch a year later, the burger I had was great but pricey Very nice looking place, the two terrasses are cool, people watching in the front and just chilling in the back. It was 3 PM and there was a lot of people in the restaurant eating, brunch I guess, but I did find a nice spot in a passage way to the back terrasse that was covered from the rain. It is a must come back for me!

This place has a nice outdoor patio and plenty of interior seating. Lots of upcycled stuff used as decoration. They have an impressive taplist with about 20 selections. Sometimes they have Hill Farmstead, and other hard to find stuff (they had 2 different Goses on tap when I was there). They have an extensive bottle menu, too. Prices are a little steep, but in the ballpark I would expect. Food menu is local faire, and is reminiscent of Preserve in Winters, CA. Food was good, but not GREAT. The menu is a bit limited, too. Otherwise, this is a MUST VISIT.

Dinner stop on my first night in town. Great taplist, including a couple of hill farmstead selections, and the dry aged beef burger was awesome, if expensive as all hell. Service was impeccable.

2013-04-28. Had lunch at Farmhouse where we had some AMAZING soups (I had a rich VT Cheddar soup, and Mabel had the best tomato soup I’ve ever had. Not sure what made it so good but it was great!), some good but less amazing sandwiches and some beers. Pretty solid taplist has lots of good stuff. Not a ton of "Oh wow!" stuff while we were there but enough that we came back again for more drinks the next night. Atmosphere is nice, a bit family restaurantish but enjoyable. The bathrooms here were kind of disgusting, they looked clean but there was an aroma in both the men’s and women’s washrooms that likely indicates an issue with their cleaning routine. Nice patio out front was quite busy on a sunny spring day. Service was friendly and attentive. Well worth a stop while in town.

The food is the Hill Farmstead of food: there’s something clean, pure, and awesome about it. I was raving about my turkey burger. Think about that. A turkey burger. Beer list is expansive with lots of Vermont and outside breweries represented. My waitress offered samples of beers I was asking about without my even asking. I’d go for a meal and beer anytime I was in the area.

Stopped in for Brunch on calm Sunday afternoon. The draft list was very nice. Mikkeller, Hill Farmstead, Lawsons Finest, Sixpoint and a few other top notch breweries. My breakfast sandwich and my buddies French toast were both excellent. You for sure make it a point to stop here when in Burlington. I will stop here first before going anywhere else in my next trip to this city. Any beer geek can find something they have not had or something on draft you may have only had in a bottle or can. They also have a nice looking outside patio for when the weather is manageable.

Love their draft list, excellent locally sourced food, okay bottle list and they are always doing special events like tap takeovers with hill farmstead. Can be busy on the weekends so mid-week is best. The #1 restaurant in burlington for beer lovers.
