Visted April 2012. Went directly to the downstairs lounge. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I tried several half-pints of different brews that I had not seen on tap before. Did not eat at this visit, just some bar snacks. Impressive place, but a bit pricy.
Very comfortable restaurant and bar in the centre of town. There is a dining area and bar inside, plus another bar in the terrace area outside. Service was very attentive and our server seemed knowledgeable about the beers. Big tap selection with some quite eclectic (for me) stuff. Had a great IPA from Hill Farmstead and an excellent whiskey-barrel aged stout from Almanac. All beers are available in small (6 oz) pours. Food was fantastic, I had the half lobster to start and the mussels as a main course, my wife had the (best ever) onion rings to start and the burger as a main. The place is however not cheap. Absolutely great, a definite must-visit place in the area!
Ended up stopping here a couple times while in Burlington. A substantial draft list as well as a really extensive list of bottles and cans, also a full bar with some really nice cocktails.
This place was really quite crowded each time we visited, but they manage the hustle and bustle well and even if you can’t get a table inside, they have a bar outside in the back (with food available, perhaps limited menu?) and the bar area inside.
About 25-30 beers on draft, mostly from Vermont but also some Maine, California, and Colorado offerings. Bottles from all over the place. Selection here is pretty diverse, but they definitely seemed to have an emphasis on hoppy beers, at least when I visited. But, a few sours, some nice lagers, wheat beers, ciders, etc. Can’t really go wrong.
On the second visit here, we actually ate dinner. Holy crap. The girlfriend "just" had macaroni and cheese and I had a lamb burger, but they were both amazing. Like, one of the best of both things I’ve ever had. The dishes aren’t necessarily cheap, but you get a lot of food for your money.
Visited a Friday night on March 2014. Place was crowded so we had to wait an hour to get a table. Nice and cosy, it seems to be the hot spot for young families. Great beer selection on both draft and bottle, some HFs and other Vermont brews. Nice but short food menu. By experience, the burgers and Mac ’n cheee are tasteful.
Solid pub and restaurant in downtown Burlington. iirc - about 20 taps from the region as well as Heady in cans (which was not on the menu/beer list). I only had some roasted mixed nuts to eat, but everyone’s food looked good. Nice, albeit cramped, seating area outside with comfy chairs and couches. Place was completely packed on a Saturday night and that is the norm from what I heard.
Visited 2016014. First tried in on Saturday but lines were huge. Net stop on Sunday just before opening 11.45 and there was already small line so place is very popular. Great local beers on draft and food was good. Very nice place. Fresh Heady Topper was phenomenal.

We visited The Farmhouse Tap & Grill on a Sunday evening for dinner and drinks. I was impressed how busy the place was even quite late on. They have 26 taps packed full of grade A malted beverages. Lots of fresh Hill Farmstead, Lawson’s, Lost Nation and some other rare offerings. (Including a tasty malt liquor!?). The food was really rather delicious and concentrated on local produce. I had some of best cheese I have ever had in the USA. We ended up spending all evening. A world class beer & eating venue for sure.
Called here twice, the second time specifically for HF Double Citra, and was thoroughly impressed. World class tap list. Top class staff. Nice ambiance. All beers available as half pours. Didn’t eat here, but I got the feeling the food would be up there with the beer. What I saw looked great. This is an extremely well run place. Top notch.
Very popular upscale beer restaurant. Outstanding tap list including Hill Farmstead, Lawson’s Finest and a few imports I’d never seen before. Heady Topper is usually available in can too. Food was decent but fairly overpriced. Service wasn’t too impressive either. Still a great place to visit for top regional beer.
Lovely place. Stopped by on a thursday noon for some food. Service was frienly. Selection on draught contains big names, Belgian and lots of locals. Nice. Bottle list is worth taking a look at as well. Found two of the Lambickx blends!! Food was very fresh, nice salad on the side with my burger. Value is ok and Overall, this place is most certainly worth a stop!!
