Very big English-style pub. I can sometimes be very crowded and noisy. Look slike a typical pub, service is jut OK because of the big crowd, they have some nice bottles and standard taps, but also have their own beer which ranges from disgusting poison to quite drinkable. Decent enough if youíre in the area.

Visited in september 2014, with beery friends. Placed in the city center, rather easy to find. Huge place, lots of seatings, both inside and outside. They do samples ( very, very small ones ). The beers were not served in the best condition, but will give it a go another time, being in the area..

Definitely a place I would go to again. Their own beer is ok, but extra credit for being cask ales. Apart from their own beer their selection of Dutch bottles is great. Little pricy for those but worth it. Location als great.

Very large place right next to the Grote Kerk downtown Den Haag. Typical English pub atmosphere, nice long bar and lots of seating. They serve their own beers, all English style ales on cask. They also have the typical macroís on tap and a 200+ long bottle list. The beers were OK, not stellar but Iíve had much worse. The prices for the food and for their own beers were average, didnít check the bottle list. Service was quite good, which was a nice plus. Iíd recommend it to travelers in town.

Visited on a sunday afternoon, while premier league matches where playing. Atmoshpere was quite ok. Bit filthy wooden interior. Beer is mediocre at best. Service was quite ok, at least from the lady who served the beers at my table. Upon asking which Fiddler beer she preferred, she answered that she didnt like any of them. An honest answer, I appreciate that. and unfortunately she was right. Mediocre at best. Plenty of other beers available though. I like UK pubs, but it didnt do the trick this time actually.

I like this pub and the service is very nice. Itís a bit pricy but sometimes worth it. The beer they make is just dreadful as is the food but itís still a nice enough pub for a drink

The Fiddler is a huge place in a prime location in the centre of Den Haag - a corner spot with large windows overlooking what I think of as a typically Dutch urban scene (a church, a cobbled street, tramlines, bicycles, geraniums and trees; only the canal was missing). It used to be a Firkin pub, possibly the only European one outside the UK. Itís still billed as an English pub and as these simulacrums of English / Irish / Scottish pubs go, itís not bad. Not unexpectedly, thereís a red telephone box; also a mannequin playing a double bass in a punt, a collection of wooden barrels and a little balcony set up for a small orchestra. You get the idea. They brew English style ales which are passable and thereís a very good bottle list as well as a fairly extensive food menu in English with Dutch translations. There was an advert for bar staff and we noticed that one of the requirements was fluency in both English and Dutch.

English style pub with English menu and indeed also English spoken visitors and service. Quite a nice selection, also some own brews, Tasted few, one was bit flat, the other OK. Had a nice tasting evening with my friend.

Very big pub like you will find in the United Kingdom. Brewed beers on the premises and if you donít like them there are also many other beers find on their list.

It looks like what you expect from a (large) English pub, with a lot of wood (floors and walls, wallpaper, quite stinky, with pitiful toilets. Pleasant service. Their own beers are not very good, but at least they have a long bottle list.
