Updating after latest visit Friday January 29, 2016. Got there about 5 pm for dinner, rather crowded, we were asked to share a table with another group, no problem. OK burgers, but nothing compared to the ones at a couple of other famous places in town. Nice selection of primarily local craft beer. I asked for one specific beer and got another one from the same brewery. A guy at the same table was going to ask for the same one I asked for, I told him to be very specific, he got the wrong one too, then was told the original he (and I) asked for was out. Service very so so, depending on who you get.
Quite nice food, good beer selection for a restaurant. But with "3 Små Room" acrosss the street, it’s hard to select this one instead. Good for bgger groups that wants food though. Centrally located. Could be skipped for beer ticking, but could be visited for some food and a nice beer.
Decent place close to Avenyn. Around 10 taps and a decent bottle selection. There are two floors and a small patio. The bar in the basement is usually the most cozy and less crowded. Food and sevice is good.
Viited during Göteborg Beer Week 2015. Maybe ten taps, interesting to see London based Fourpure represented. Bottle selecetion was great at our visit, they served samples from bottles during the beer week. Did not try the food. Quite a nice place, not very crowded on a late Thursday afternoon. An ok patio in the summer.
Rather loud classic pub with decent burgers, friendly staff and some craft beer that might be worth the visit. Wouldn’t go out of my way to get there though but it’s very close to 3 Små rum so chances are you’ll be in the area anyway.
The only reason to go here is if 3 små rum across the street has closed early, as is their wont. Big pub with several seating areas. Nothing worth drinking on tap, pretty good selection of beers from Ocean on bottle, including one brewed especially for them.
Close to 3 Små Rum so many beer hunters probably choos that place. But this place is also well worty a visit. Quite decent bottle selection. Also some from Iceland! Did not taste the food. Good atmosphere and fine interior.
This was a decent pub to eat a meal after my visit to Tre Små Rum just across the street. The selection was in no way fantastic, but they did have a new polotmavy for me. The service was a bit lacking as far as knowledge of the beers go, but they were nice enough at least.
Expected a lot more from a beer bar in Göteborg, but the various Wisby beers on tap really didn’t impress me. The food was ok, not great but filling, and the place a bit noisy and stuffed on a Saturday night. If you’re looking for beer, cross the street to 3 Små Rum instead, and they also serve food.
