Not a large selection of beer but what he has is always very good. Located along the Ookagawa River its a nice place to unwind after work - especially on Spring and Summer evenings when the tables are out. Always a great fun atmosphere inside too. The food is great!

Popped in here for the ciders which were great. A really warm welcoming atmosphere from staff and other customers made for a party atmosphere on a busy Friday night. If you go here, expect to meet new people-cool.

Nice English pub. Best selection of ciders I have seen in Japan. Decent selection of beers as well. Chilled atmosphere, nice owner. Heard the food is great but havenít tried it yet.

New bar, new place. Hidenocho station, also 400-500m walk from Bashamichi or Sakuragicho. Heísnow focussing on ciders. Come october he should have about 6 on tap including 4 from air sleaed bags. He has the bigest range of bottles ciders from the Uk and france and all pints are 1,000yen. He features 1/2 rogues guests plus an English ale or 3 on tap or handpump. Often fullers, Shepheard neame, abbot and smaller Uk craft feature if he can get them in. Gaddís best bitter has been on a few times and isnt bad stuff. Great little no smoking pub with wifi. Tuesdays is roast dinner and for 1,000yen you get lamb and beef with all the trimmings. They make their own pies and they are very nice but perhaps a tad pricey at 1200yen. Becoming my fav little pub in Japan. Looking forward to those ciders on tap. The bottles are excellent.
Hopefully heíll have some more Japanerse on tap. Right now he often features Brimmer porter as his house porter.
Gave him marks for selection due to the exclusivity of many of the ciders and the fact you can get them in one place.

Came here to watch Australia beat Wales in the rugby (sorry Chuwy). English pub fitout run by expat Clive. Friendly pub that has some solid offerings beer wise. Probably not a must visit for a beer geek though.

British pub style bar with an Englishman owner. Inside itís that familiarly íEnglish styleí pub that Iíve experienced in America and Japan so not really home from home. However, the beer list has a lot of English imported stuff in good condition, which is great if you want a taste of home or youíre Japanese and want a flavour of English beer. Personally Iím in Japan for the ji-beer so I thought thereís nothing much here to interested me. However, funny thing was I found a Fullerís Winter Ale that I couldnít even pick up in London! Shame I was at the end of a pub crawl and too drunk to finish it.

Another british bar...ho hum. the publican is a servicable guy but otherwise its like a thousand other places around tokyo..RERATE new location is much smaller and homelier. In a VERY seedy area, so donít get too smashed! Good beers and ciders, including Fullers Bengal Lancer on handpump when I stopped by. Clive is still good value too.

Sizeable establishment, which is a nice change of pace from the normally cramped Japanese bars. While the beer selection isnít amazing, it does have a nice selection of common English beers and a cider too. I had the dayís special sandwich and was pretty satisfied with it. The bartender/owner and staff were nice and attentive while I was there. Iíd go back if I was in the mood for a bitter or mild, but there are better selections of micros less than a block away.
