We sat outside only, on a very nice night, so I may be overrating the ambiance. The bushes gave a pretty decent barrier from the busy street. The beer selection is solid, especially considering the area. The venison burger (and the rest of our food) was very nice. I cannot agree with the other reviews here. Most Michigan Ave places you should skip, but not this one, this one is one of the better ones I have found.

weak draft list, crappy food, basically a Michigan ave place you can skip.

A great option for a few good beers in the loop with an interesting and tasty food menu focused on interpretations and renderings of pub classics. Right across from Millenium Park with some outdoor seating and a comfortable large dining and bar area. Not the cheapest, but acceptable for the location. Beer menu is not particularly adventurous or deep but is large enough and has enough quality beers to make it worthwhile. Features some belgians, other imports and regional American craft beers and they definitely rotate some of the draft and bottle selections. Service was excellent on one visit.
