German food, decent beers, mixture of German and local stuff. Very friendly staff. Nice addition to the beer scene in an otherwise pretty dull (from a beery point of view) area.

Can’t believe this wasn’t in the database. Good, well thought out selection. Some locals on tap. They also sell beer glassware and German (packaged) food to go. Food is solid German fare, and reasonably priced. A decent stop when I don’t want to make the trip through the tunnel to Portsmouth.
