servers really know what’s on tap...they can get busy, so service can slow down quite a bit.....enjoyed the selection both times i have gone...in 3 week span, it was quite different. recommend an earlier start. Very relaxing set up..

showed up on a thursday around 6pm. wasn’t really feelin’ the crowd at this place, as it was filled with a bunch of fancily dressed banker and lawyer looking types who were likely swinging by for happy hour. reminded me of the DC bar scene. some not so friendly sorority girl and frat guy types swarming to get the next free table. you could feel the tension in the air with the big report due at 8am the next morning. papers spread out on the fucken table. pretty good beer selection, would have enjoyed this bar more if they didn’t let anyone inside.

Best beer bar in midtown. Very nice place to hang when it isnt packed. Good selection.

Probably the best beer bar in Manhattan. Great selection of craft beers from around the world. The meny is sorted by country and there is something for everyones taste. They have a decent food menu as well. Stop by!

Friday night (2/15) visit: It was very crowded, but we managed to find a table rather quickly and service was attentive. Nice ambiance of wood and nostalgia beer decor. Impressive tap and bottle list including local NY beers like Sixpoint. Beer menu is printed daily. Prices were consistant to other craft bars I’ve been to throughout the U.S. Nice Midtown Manhattan location that I hope to visit again when I’m back in NYC.

This place is cavernous but really welcoming and very clean! There are chairs and sofas to lounge upon as well as plenty of seats at the bar.

Great place I have been going to for many years. Tremendous selection, but can get totally packed at peak hours. Unreal amount of taps plus terrific bottle selection. Food is pretty good although the menu is not expansive.

Here on a Sunday afternoon, when it wasn’t all that crowded. Nice wooden looking bar that looks all fancy, with beer decor around. Tap selection is pretty damn good. There were more than enough obscure beers on the menu to make my visit worth it. Unfortunately, the beers are pretty expensive, especially those that I wanted, but the prices are not crazy for New York (Spuyten Duyvil charges more for bottles for example). The bartender knew her shit and could talk about anything on the menu; however, it sometimes took a while for her to get around to everyone. The food was pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed by my sandwich.

Been here plenty of times. Really nice when it isn’t totally packed, can be a drag when it’s standing room only. Always a wide variety of styles on draft, though typically only a couple of brews that are interesting to a geek like me. Sandwiches are excellent. Arguably the best beer bar in Midtown.

Unmatched tap selection (70+). Great bottle line up as well. The tap selection is always seasonal and trendy. All bartenders and servers are certified cicerones. The food menu is small, and not necessarily beer friendly. Luckily I work 2 blocks from here. Packed for happy hour, though.
