The brick oven pizza was very good. Split a salad and tried a couple of their beers. Very good beer listing, and am told they rotate very often. We tried the West Coast IPA and the Nebraska Cardinal Pale Ale. Good service to go along with the good food. Will definitley visit again.

I couldnít believe The Good Pie wasnít already listed on here, and thought Iíd already rated it for some reason. Anyway, the Good Pie is another new restaurant over by SLU in Midtown, across from Buffalo Brewing. Small storefront, so be careful not to miss it. The pizza is brick oven Neopolitan style, and is excellent. Good cheese/meat boards, salads, and appetizers, too. The beer list isnít huge, but itís always solid. Last night, the taps were Jolly Pumpkin La Parcela, Six Row Black IPA, Six Row Dunkelweizen, Schlafly APA, Schlafly ESB, St. Bernardus Tripel, Bear Republic Racer IPA, SKA Buster Nut Brown, SKA Modus Hoperandi, and something else Iím forgetting. The La Parcela was fresh and served in big tulips. Nice, cozy atmosphere with brick exposed walls and wood trim. Great place to get some good pizza and beer before a SLU game or in a Midtown bar crawl. The people here know their beer and put a lot of effort into making sure the taps are always top notch in selection.
