Actually crashed this place. It wasn’t open for the day. My Swedish brother-in-laws and I found an open door and walked in about an hour before they opened. They quickly explained that the beer geek American really wanted to visit the Green Lion.The manager, Mikel, simply smiled went behind the bar and started serving us. Gave us a quick tour of the setup in the taproom and his amazing selection of beers. Recommended an incredible Danish IPA and served us tasting glasses of whatever we wanted. Lots of Mikkeller. Local casks, Great Old English pub decor, super knowledgeable staff and incredible selection of beers. A must visit location if you are in Malmo.

Good service and location, excellent selection

A short walk from the town centre, but well worth the effort. The ambience of this place is truly special. It's modelled on a traditional London pub and boy have they made a good job. The beer selection is quite breathtaking and the service excellent. This is my favourite Malmo pub and there is some stiff competition

Very nice place near the center of Malmö. English styled pub with a large selection of draft and bottled beers. Common European beers as well as some special brews. Friendly personell, nice atmosphere. Decent pub food.

Quite large L-shaped gastropub in a classic British style. I counted 8 hand pumps and minimum 32 different beers on tap in addition to an excellent bottle menu. Good selection of beers from different countries, however, very few from Swedish breweries. I had a bottle from Iceland and cask ale from Canada (!) You can have a taster of five cask ales, each 100ml, for 100SEK. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Music from Clash, Radiohead and Coldplay – to my pleasure. Very similar to the Queen’s Head in Stockholm. Located just three minutes walk from the station. Turn to the right when leaving the station (visited with Frau Eva, 30th and 31st July 2010).
