This place was way better a couple of years ago when it was beer in all taps and a better bottle selection. Now they’ve lost some of it so I don’t go there very often, last times I’ve been there it have been lots of empty taps and not as crowded as it used to be. Exceptional fish n chips though.

Nice ambiance, good selection of beers and very good food! A lot of people on Friday night. What I didnt like was that you could hear only people talking and no music

Changed management and staff during 2012. Still holds an impressive number of taps, mainly Swedish, Danish and British and sometimes cask, but the rotation is lower than before. Good variety of bottled beers. Labels themselves as a gastro pub and the food is indeed excellent. Separate dining area, outdoor sofas and chairs in the summertime. Owned by major brewery Åbro and that’s what you get if you ask for a lager but the variety stands out.

A short walk from the town centre, but well worth the effort. The ambience of this place is truly special. It's modelled on a traditional London pub and boy have they made a good job. The beer selection is quite breathtaking and the service excellent. This is my favourite Malmo pub and there is some stiff competition

Spacious bar located near the main train station and a pretty short walk from the Bishops Arms. Pretty good tap selection featuring a fair few Swedish micros and friendly helpful service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Malmo.

Actually crashed this place. It wasn’t open for the day. My Swedish brother-in-laws and I found an open door and walked in about an hour before they opened. They quickly explained that the beer geek American really wanted to visit the Green Lion. The manager, Mikel, simply smiled went behind the bar and started serving us. Gave us a quick tour of the setup in the taproom and his amazing selection of beers. Recommended an incredible Danish IPA and served us tasting glasses of whatever we wanted. Lots of Mikkeller. Local casks, Great Old English pub decor, super knowledgeable staff and incredible selection of beers. A must visit location if you are in Malmo.

Visited rather late on a Saturday evening in April 2012.
The place was not crowded during my visit. The location is a bit from central Malmö, but no worries, Malmö is not a large city.
The selection was good and so was the service. I liked the cozy British atmosphere. I did not try the food.

British pub feel, two dozen taps offering a mix of Swedish, European and American beer. extensive bottle list but contains mostly thing found elsewhere in Sweden.
