a few steps from washington square, solid US tap selection and good import bottles. Clean, well lit, decent service...not a temple but pretty decent.

Last beer stop of the night (of way too much bar hopping). This is on a lively street just up the way from both Amity Hall and the famous Blue Note jazz club. This is essentially an Irish bar with a few imported bottles. I ended up ordering a pint of Ommegang Rare Vos but they also had Lagunitas, Chimay, Sierra Nevada, Goose Island, Duvel, Leffe, Blue Point, and Guinness on tap along with Hoegaarden, Stella, whatever the Sam Adams seasonal is, and Victory. Oh, and can’t forget Bud Light. Actually, it’s difficult to forget the Bud Light since most of the "pint" glasses they serve beer in were branded with the Bud Light logo. There were a couple of us at the bar and the bartender chatted us up. Nice guy. He was Irish and shared my views on tipping. Kind of refreshing to hear a bartender agree that bartenders shouldn’t expect an automatic 20% for doing nothing but pouring a beer, especially if they’re not even very friendly. Nice place but not a lot to pick from beer-wise.

Have visited on a number of times and fits in with a little crawl following on from the Blind Tiger and also very near to Amity Hall.
Smallish bar with some outside seating. Service is fine.
Selection is largely east coast stalwarts, nothing too exciting.
I find this place a little pricier than others in the neighbourhood.
Not an outright destination but a useful enough link in a crawl.

Nice place with decent service and a good ambiance. But kind of a poor and boring beer selection.

Large pub near NYU that has lots of good beer on tap and in stock. Unlucky for us the gas had run out, so it was only bottles. But bartender/owner was very good about it and told us about her new pub next door Amity Hall.
