This place rocks. Lots of old video games (not working) set up to play. Board games. A lot of very clever gimmicky beers, tried quite a few, none were bad, none were great. All were enjoyable. Played horse shoes outside w Carter. If I lived close, I would be here often.

Very interesting place. You drive down a back street with trees that form a tunnel and then out of no where the place pops up. Looks like an old shack - inside and out. Lots of character. Sampled through their entire list - about 25 or so. Most were good. But it seemed like they only had about five beers that they just messed with - adding coconut, hazelnuts, or whatever to great a different version. Nice folks, though, and well worth a visit.

This is an out of the way place that seemed to be where all of the regulars hang out. Not flashy, not trying to be, just an unpretentious little haunt with a ton of great beer on tap. The bartender was phenomenal; let us try many of the beers before making a decision. He was also very helpful in letting us know about other fun breweries in the surrounding areas. Beers were reasonably priced, plus they have a Groupon for beer tasting - that was a nice touch. We had a lot of fun here.

Small place with a second floor. Second floor is a bit more "open" but still small. First floor can get cramped real quick. Huge tap list (30+ beers) but most of what I sampled was just "OK" at best. Still a good selection, though. No food, just some pretzels & chips. Dimly lit. Decent little joint, nothing to go crazy over, though.

Nice small brewpub, 32 beers on tap! Small friendly place. Popcorn is free, a few TVs. Fellow patrons friendly. In terms of beer had a couple of samplers, 10 beers we tried. My take is - avoid the lagers. If you do that you will really like the ales. They make some really good ales, had a good Belgian wit, ipa, triple, red ale, nice beer stop in GR!

I really enjoy this place. friendly staff. The brewers and owners are generally around the bar and provide lots of information on their beer. They donít have any mind blowing beers, but everything they do is very solid. Iím definitely coming back.

A great "local" bar. Mostly regulars every time Iím in, but theyíre friendly to new faces. The small size of the place lends it an intimate feel, and makes it easy to join in conversations. The bartenders are always friendly, and the beer is always good. They serve only light snacks (popcorn, cheese and crackers), but you can bring in food or have pizza delivered. One of my favorite hangouts.

You really have to want to find this but it is so worth finding. We had several of their beers, split amongst us, and all were solid. I didnít rate all that was tasted. The staff, Jennifer, was super friendly and helpful. This is a local kind of place for serious beer lovers. I feel at home hete.

This place is definitely a hideout as itís tucked away in northern Grand Rapids. Itís a small charming place with 10 home brews on tap and a very limited food selection Ė bringing in outside food is allowed. Friendly service and decent enough beer made this a pleasant surprise on this trip to Grand Rapids. While I wonít hit this every time Iím in GR, Iíll be back on a future visit.
