Stopped in here for a quick beer as we were in the area with a few minute to kill. Thatís about all this place is good for, the list was unexciting, feels like a dive but without any of the dive character that makes one want to regular a dive. Canít imagine Iíll be back. Even in this area there are probably some better options.
Average in every sense of the word. A selection that you can find at probably 100 other bars within a 10 block radius, even in midtown. Generic "pub" style interior. Average NYC prices. Fine for grabbing a beer if youíre in the area or if youíre place ticking, but definitely nothing worth going out of your way for.
Big place close to times square . Made up by 2 floors , I visited the top floor today .
The beerlist was - at best- OK . Nothing really special , but they had some goodies ( next to some crap ) . Best bottle Iíve seen ( less common and good at the same time, that is ) was regular bourbon county . So thats not bad . Service was very friendly . Prices were about the average in NY , which is not bad for this location .
**I originally rated the 46th St location by accident. Moving my rating here.

The website boasts "With over 100 beers from around the world, itís easy to find exactly what youíre looking for when you come into our bar. " I have to say that this place is disappointing. In terms of the ambiance itís a perfectly nice place to hang out and have a beer but you wont find much in the way of good beer. I think they have Chimay bottles but we went with Union Jack and Ommegang BPA. The service was fine but I didnít interact much with them. I probably wonít stop back in again.
Found this bar coincidentally and was thrilled about it. Thatís the place where I tried my first beer flight. Thatís a place to remember, for sure. Otherwise, pretty dark place with classic pub ambiance, well educated staff and great service. Recommended to all beer lovers...
After a hells kitchen food tour I was wandering about looking for a cigar shop before trekking back to my beloved east side when I saw House of brews figured stop in and beat the heat for a few. Only went downstairs and its ok ambiance nothing crazy in either direction. nice selection but nothing exciting if that makes sense. managed to grab a few Ny ticks and bartender was nice. $11 for a flight of 4 not too bad.
Very similar to itís sister pub offering 15 or so taps. Nothing too interesting just stock east coast and NY favourites.
I wouldnít go out of my way for HOB but have popped in a few times when staying in the neighbourhood.
Service at the bar has always been decent.
Beware the pints are only 14oz pours so this place works out fairly pricey!
