Ambience was odd and not what I expected from the name - seemed more like an upscale, big-city, beautiful-people place. Beer selection was OK (most places in Vancouver are just "OK" IME). Did not sample the food, service was good, pricey. I’d try it again to see if it the place had ’broken in’ a bit, but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list on my next visit. | 24 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 2/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 5/20 The Heather has moved across the street. The cozy vibe is gone and the beer list here is vastly overstated. Hardly anything non-corporate here and none of it is the good, interesting stuff. And like I said, the place no longer has a good vibe, just a lame sterile corporate vibe. Don’t bother. |
