Have been there a couple of times and always enjoyed being there. The food is really nice, especially the Galway oysters are to recommend. You can sit outside on the patio during the warm days, what is really nice. The atmosphere in it is really comfy and cory and the beer selection is quite wide (for local standards). Prices are little bit above average.

A fun place to hang out with all the average, big name and flavorless beers on tap. Go here for a good time, not if you are looking for a craft beer.

I must disagree with all of the ratings for this place on here (besides the food which is fine). They only have one microbrew - Galway hooker, therefore this place is not worthy of a mention at all on rate beer.

Stopped here for dinner. We arrived a little bit later in the evening and the place filled up pretty quickly due a football match. The food and beer were excellent. Service was friendly and prompt.

Big place, friendly staff. Good atmosphere when it’s crowded, but sometimes the music is a bit loud. Decent beer selection. Definitely worth a look.

First stop of the night; it was relatively early, so there weren’t many people there which made the place seem big and empty - the front area was somewhat cozy, but the back area and upstairs was expansive. They typically have music, the band on the evening I went was servicable. The selection was standard for Galway pubs. Worth a stopby; maybe check it out later in the evening when there are a few more bodies.

We watched rugby in here before moving on. The food was excellent, the beer tasty and the staff friendly and efficient. Certainly a place worth hunting down.
