Visited this place in August. Really nice ambience, with big roll-up windows looking out toward North Park. Lots of space. Tap list is good but not great; maybe 10-14 things to choose from. The food was fantastic.

We visited for a drink before heading to Toronado and were pleasantly surprised. The Linkery is a fairly small, modern restaurant with a focus of quality food and drink. There were approximately 10 taps of interesting craft beer including Bear Republic Tartare and Ballast Point Sour Wench. There is also a small, but well thought out bottle list. Food looked very good, but we did not partake. Perhaps a touch expensive, but not too bad. A very worthy stop before you hit Toronado.

Had one pint here before last call late last fall. It’s a kind of CA modern room but one with a focus on beer that would speak to most any beer nerd....big beer list front and center Great bartender from what i experienced. Beer list was not overwhelming but seemed lovingly and locally selected, I didn’t lok at a bottle list

Small but good selection of craft beers on tap. One of the first farm to table restaurants in San Diego, I really like their bratwurst but sauerkraut not so much. Hate that they automatically add 18% tip, I should be able to decide if the service was worth that.

As far as beer goes, not a top spot on 30th St. Only a few taps and a couple casks that aren’t kept well and are way overpriced. You might want to come here for the food, but don’t bother for a good beer selection.

Went there last night for the beginning of San Diego Beer Week for beer and dinner. Had a great time! Had to stand at the bar for a few minutes waiting for a table enjoying a neat offer of 2 half pints of the same beer, one cask and the other regular draft. All the beers were great! We were soon seated, had a fabulous dinner and order some their own bacon and a couple each of all the sausage links they currently had (six) for take home. Service was friendly and good. Good vibe. But the cost kind of blew us away - $200! I’d go again, but be very careful to pay closer attention and ask cost of each item.

Having Alesmith Decadence on Cask was amazing. I’ve asked around and no one else has said they have seen this on cask. Tap list isn’t that extensive, but interesting bottles. Service was OK, nothing bad, but just felt the waitress was trying too hard/a bit fake, still she was helpful. Four of us went and the food was hit and miss. Hit - Smoked Octopus and bacon. Eggplant parmesan and definitely the Lardo (yes, lard) ice cream was a huge hit with everyone - that is a must try. Miss- the fish. OK - Fries, Stew and chocolate cake (?) like dessert. Given its location, I would say it is worth a stop on a crawl and dinner there can be an acceptable fare, but don’t expect everything to be WOW.

This was a nice place. The beer list was adequate. The stuff they carried was good, its just the selection wasn’t huge. The food was good, but a little pricy honestly. The service was very good. I guess this is a co-op though, and all the employees share in the profits. They do force an 18% gratuity on there, which is honestly a little uncomfortable for me, but at least the service was nice, and they probably would have earned a 20% tip from me otherwise.

Nice atmosphere in a ’you may well be paying too much for this beer’ kind of way. The food is just crazy awesome. As local, organic and responsible as the Stone WBG but with a little added rustic grit. Bottles of BA Speed on the menu. Four to five casks. Closes so early you’d think it was run by the Catholics.
