Fairly bland generic outlet, OK a lot of local stuff, but not particularly obscure, and seemed a bit pricey.

Small liquor shop located on Stonehaven high street. The beer selection is way better than what you would expect from such a place and is composed of about 70ish bottles of mainly Scottish beers. Breweries included are Brewdog, Fyne, Williams Bros, Cairngorm and such. Particular highlights on my visit were BrewDog AB beers, Black Tokyo* Horizon and Fraoch 22. Good service and decent value. A worthy stop when in the area.

This is a locally run off license store that specializes in Scottish Ales, fine spirits, wine and tobacco. They claim to have about 200 different beers. This has to be the beer store with the finest choice of Scottish micro brewery ales in the Aberdeen/Stonehaven region. The bus from Aberdeen stops just around the corner in Barclay Street. They had a good selection of BrewDog beers. I bought some BrewDog, Fyne Ales, The Kernel, Ola Dubh 40 and a Brougthon old Jock Ale. Nice place and friendly service. (Visited August 6th 2011)
