A cavernous restaurant with a small patio area. The interior feels sort of impersonal and without character. The tap selectionís pretty broad (30ish beers are on offer), but doesnít offer anything unique or out of the ordinary. Core offerings from Bells, Summit, Surly etc were available. I didnít eat, but the bar food looked pretty tasty and well-portioned. Happy hour prices for drinks (4-7pm and after 10) were fantastic. Overall, not a must-visit spot. This place doesnít really offer any compelling reasons for Ratebeerians to visit. However, itís not a bad stop if youíre looking to drink cheap pints of Furious during happy hour.

Nice spot on lake and lyn. Decent rap selection beer events here and there but nothing to special from what Iíve seen. Itís more about the food for me though. Nice happy hour too.

I havenít been to the Lyndale Tap House since Muddy Watters opened up practically next door, but with the new "stout" competition, LTH is going to have to step up itís game in terms of beer selection. The layout of Muddy Waters is eerily similar and quite frankly, cooler. The only reason in my view to visit the LTH at this point is to save a couple bucks per beer on a Surly or something similarly ubiquitous. Or, since the Lyn-Lake area has become at this point a beer lovers paradise with Brant Lake Bowl, the Bulldog, and Herkimer also within walking distance, LTH would be an natural stop on any resulting pub crawl. Would love to see these guys amp up the beer menu, which at this point isnít even posted on their website. For shame. If you donít want to be a beer place, take the "Tap" out of your name.

Good spot in Uptown. They are pushing about 26 taps now, and while most are pretty common / easy to find beers, thereís some decent stuff here. Goose Island, Alaskan, Boulevard, Fulton, New Belgium, Summit, Bells, Deschutes, and Tyranena to name a few. Terrific food.

Only a few "craft" beers. Two Hearted is always on tap, Delirium, Tyranena, and some Lagunitas. Food is better than average bar food. The beer Mussels are very good. They have one of the better happy-hours in uptown with $3 pints and 1/2 price appetizers, and because I live so close, this has become a regular spot for me. Service has usually been friendly. This place turns into a night club/meat market on weekend evenings, and it can be fun 7/14/10 beer selection has improved, taps rotate frequently. Also, service has always been friendly. evening happy hour seems to run late, 11:30 I think, even on Friday with $3.00 Two Hearted. Not a craft beer destination, but I do like this place. November 15, 2010. Selection is rotating often and improved quite a bit. Score increased. Late happy hour and all pints are $3.

Pit BBQ is the theme of this restaurant/bar. A long bar running the length of the bar greets you as you walk in with about 18 taps ranging from your full on macro to some micros. No Surly which is a bummer being that they are located in MN. The food is decent. The staff is friendly but not overly knowledgeable on craft beers. Directly across the street from The Herkimer.
