Sweet space in wicker park, fantastic collection, friendly staff. One of the best chicago has to offer.

I wasn’t sure about this place as I emerged from the cab. It looked like a neighborhood dive bar populated. Y hipsters. Well that’s what it is. The service is a bit to beerier than thou and the water glasses are essentially urine sample cups. Didn’t have any food not with Pequid’s delivering a notched box of pure deliciousness. The ambience is awesome. Very laid back very comfortable. It’s the kind of environment beer was meant to be enjoyed. And the tap list. Very editorial with lots of stuff like Three floyds you can’t find everywhere. I would definitely go back and not talk to anybody.

A friendly local crowd and gritty atmosphere. Cash only. Was packed when we were there (Saturday evening) and hard to find a spot to even stand with our beers. The list was nice (lots of local craft) though not huge (like, say, Hopleaf).

Excellent bar located in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. This is a must stop for any beer fan. They always have a large selection of beers on tap from some of the favorite microbreweries around plus over 100 beers and bottles. Not much on food but who needs it when you’ve got great beer.

Maybe I came at a bad time taplist wise, but was a bit disappointed with this place. Ambiance was ok, Library/Museum looking room with lots of maps, long bar, with tight corners. Althoguh it was busy, it took a very long time to get the attendtion of bartenders and order a drink. Selection was solid, but nothing crazy, and not as great as I was expecting given its rating on here. Beers were ok priced for Chicago, but still a bit expensive and nothing too crazy on tap. Worth it if you;re around, but don;t go out of our way.

Great place. Prices decent for having Chicago overhead. Big selection of beers including some hard to find. Been here quite a few times. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

A memorable stop on my Chicago trip. It was a relaxing afternoon check in. The bartender helped with all my questions and didn’t feel bothered. It wasn’t a cheap place but it was fair. As for the selection it was better than most places. It’s worth going to.

My one and only criticism is cash only. How hip do you have to be to fit in with the hipsters of Bucktown not to mention it’s the f-ing 21st century and I’m venting to cyber space because I’m too lazy to carry cash money with me. I digress, amazing selection of beers, and fine bitties who like beer frequent this spot, which means you could easily find your future wife here...

Incredible beer bar, one of the first places I ever went to as a beer geek that blew me out of the water. Really cool decor, large bar, tables, no food though. Three Floyds and Half Acre on tap is enough said. Bottle list included a lot of Lost Abbey stuff, Three Floyds Behemoth (hard to find). Definitely worth perusing the bottle list. Staff knows a lot about beer, was patient as I sifted through the bottle list. Prices were not bad considering the area. Had a blast here!
