They had four-five different cask ales from the hand pumps, as well as some more common stuff. I happened to buy a very nice porter and what I found out was the very boring and bland Edinburgh í80 or whatever it was called - i coulndít finish the whole pint. The service was alright but nothing special. Best stay away from the food, burnt was the key word. Iíd skip this one and head for maybe the Holyrood 9a or definitely the Brewdog bar if open, both just five minutes away.

Yet another real Ale Bar on The Royal Mile. Reasonable selection of well cared for interesting beers with satisfactory service. Worth checking out if you are in the area
