Nice burgers, american style diner. The beer list is not the typical you find in norwegian places so it’s a good thing, typical there are some american micros and the house beer Nøgne Ø Nighthawk Breakfast Brown. The house beer is by itself worth a visit

Nice and consistent retro interior. Decent beer selection for a non special beer bar, did not try the food but it looks and smells very good. Service is good when not to crowdie. Excellent house beer made at Nøgne Ø, Nighthawk Breakfast Brown is a great benefit. Interesting place to visit if you’re not there just for the beer but appreciate to have a decent option. A bit pricy.

If you are prepared to spend a long time on the sidewalk waiting for a table, you’ll be rewared with a seat in a fine reproduction of an American diner. Decent beer selection, but there are far more interesting palces nearby. Pricey.

Made up to look like a 1950’s American diner, right down to the outfits the staff wear. And the eponymous painting hangs over it all. Food is very tasty, service is friendly and efficient. Beer selection is small but decent.

Good food, and ok service. The big pluss here is that they had a microbrewery who made a special beer just for them, can’t excatly remember who, but i think it was Haandbryggeriet. One of the first tastings I had of proper beer, the reason I fell in love with it. So for me it had a great value.

When I visited the diner this weekend (23.03.12) I was really surprised. All of the staff had a really positive attitude. Great and quick service. The food is excellent, but it’s a bit expensive though. They didn’t have the Nøgne Ø Breakfast Brown, because of production limitations at Nøgne Ø. So I had to settle for a Brooklyn Brown. A great start of the day!

To be completely honest: Overpriced(specially the bad food) , overrated, bad service, not clean , poor service and poor knowledge . Inside it looks very good but whats up with the ignoring attitude??? I have given it 5 chances and been disappointed every time:( But Norwegians seems to like to pay more money the lower the quality as long it seems American .... I dont understand that.

Havent tried their food, but damn those american pancakes looked darn good. Not a huge selection of beers, but their own brown ale from Nøgne.

Visited as a detour, just to try the NØ Nighthawk Breakfast Brown. Quick and friendly service at the door, but at the counter I got really disappointed at the poor service and ignoring attitude. Reading the other reviews, obviously this was not their finest moment. Nice interior though. Left the rest of the pint after getting what I needed for my rating. If it had felt better I would have stayed. Might have to try it again and see if I get a better impression. If I do I’ll re-rate.
