Great slection of beers, including some of their own craft brews which I tried. Service is quick and attending. Somewhat sterile atmosphere, but as the beer is the most important thing, lesser importance. When in Huntsville think made right choice to go here. Bit expensive.

Inside reminds me of a 70s era retro bar. The outside patio area is new and HUGE! Lots if trees, very nice area to unwind and take it easy. The beer selection is amazing! So many beers to choose from. I tried some food, very good. This place is in a "not so great" part of town, but worth the drive.

Other than the old lady who will stalk you, its a good place. Its the place to find good beer in Hville. Food selection not that great, and service marignal to good. But beer selection. Best in town... well for now.. competition coming. The outside deck is very nice... which sets amvieance high.

Having lived in Huntsville for a few years, I was all too familiar with the almost complete lack of a beer scene (I think things have improved in the past 3 years since Iíve moved away). This place was my beer oasis for the time I lived in the area. Amazing tap list that rivals beer bars in big cities. Great staff that knows their beers too. I was introduced to numerous new breweries and beer styles thanks to this place. For what it lacks in general style and food offerings, it more than makes up for it in fantastic beer.

Available secure WiFi (just ask), German Food on Tuesday, Guest Chef on Saturday. New beers on Monday and Saturday. Bright front bar area, dim back bar area, and huge deck out back.

I stopped here for a few brews on the recommendation of my brother-in-law. Iím glad I did. We sat outside on a nice deck underneath some beautiful trees. I ordered a J.W Lees Harvest Ale 2001 and a draft of St. Bernardus Abt 12. Frankly, these beers far exceeded what I expected from a bar in Alabama. Beverly, our initial server, was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and entertaining. While we enjoyed her company, our other server was pretty crabby and kept us waiting too long between rounds. The Nook offers a few hundred different craft brews, with a nice selection of German and Belgian offerings. This is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Most beers served in 12 oz goblet, †patio, no wifi, 48 draft, 350+ in bottles, looks like an old apartment complex office thatís been converted into a bar. The rooms kind of zigzags and taps are stuck all over in random corners, or even outside on the patio. Music is 80ís on the night I visited. Itís well lit. Fridges are on the dark side and they donít keep the green glass bottles next to the lights. Clearly the best selection if local brews on tap. On the negative, the prices are much, much worse then the best beer bars in DC and Asheville, NC, aka beertown USA. Typically a flight of 4 beers will run you $5-6, they charged $8-15 for a flight. They charge more for higher alcohol beers. They define higher alcohol beers as over 7%, which is silly since the average craft beer is 6%. regardless, it doesnít make any sense to price them that way, since the percent alcohol doesnít necessarily correlate to price of the beer. Also, if they are going to price them that way, it should have been on the draft list, so we werenít surprised that our tab was DOUBLE what we were expecting. They have clearly lost the plot, because flights are generally slightly cheaper compared to the full pint, to encourage you to try new beers. We sat at the bar near the dishwasher and the bartender only chatted with her friends, but didnít talk to us beyond asking our orders. She also showed a shocking lack of knowledge of the beers they serve and even made the silly recommendation of mixing cider and sprite to a lady. Parking was OK, but probably not enough for a full house. Frankly, I would rather go to Stem & Stein where they may not have as many local taps, but the vibe is better, the staff is interested in learning more about their product, and the prices are MUCH more reasonable.†These folks are taking advantage of the Rocket City, and it is very sad to see.
