One of the best beer stores I have found in the US, and I have been to a ton of stores. The singles selection blew my mind, and sometimes itís hard to be impressed by beer stores... but this store had just about everything available in the region, and most all of it was available in single bottles - at fair prices - in the back cooler. Thereís not much more to say about this store... if youíre in the Cincy area and need one store to visit, this should be the one.

(Visited 02/2008): Party Source is right across the river from Cincy in Bellevue, KY. They have a large private parking lot out front. The overall feel of the exterior is a grocery store.
The interior of the store stays with the theme, and it is an agonizing walk past aisles of party supplies, wine and liquor before getting to the far end of the store where the beer is. There is a growler station and kegs at the front, room temperature beer shelves in the middle, and cold beer in the back. Good selection of glassware too.
The beer selection is excellent. The growlers included goodies from DFH, Chimay, Moerlein etc. As for bottles they carry a staggering array of beers both in singles and packs from Schlafly, Bellís, Moerlein, Lexington, BBC, Mt. Carmel, etc. A great selection of imports from the UK, Belgium, Germany is represented too. Literally too many beers to list. The only possible problem with this is some stock looks like it might sit a little longer than it should, and some items are haphazardly stacked around in odd places.
Service here is very good. An employee pointed us to the beer section before we asked, and the staff was very helpful in tracking down specific beers and filling growlers. No complaints there.
All in all this is an absolute must-visit for anyone who finds themselves within a 2-hour radius of Cincinnati for any reason.

Pretty huge beer selection here. Prices are quite reasonable as well. They have the largest walk-in cooler I have ever seen with nearly everything available in singles. Be extra weary of the dates of things on the shelf. I walked out of here with some FFF and Lindemanís Faro that I was impressed with finding. I filled the rest of my basket with some token regional micros and a Hanssnes Geueze. This is a great stop to get some intresting brews.

Across the river from Cincinnati, this a excellent source of anything for beverage, cigars and party food & supplies. I go each Tuesday for the cigar tasting and pick single brews from their huge selection. They have a patio outside for events and you can drink your brews during the tasting. There is a six tap stand inside and they sell growlers to go starting at $6.99. Humidor is very good with great box prices. Shopping for beers and supplies here is a great thing.

Iím lucky to live around the corner from two nice little beer stores in IGA and Ludlow Wines, but when it comes to overall breadth of selection in Cincinnati area, The Party Source is king. It has the atmosphere of a typical supermarket, and the beer aisles, growler station, and refrigerated rooms are in the southwest corner of the store. I knew the place would dominate in volume but had no idea how high the quality of offerings would be. The shelves featured some stuff I hadnít seen before (especially in Cincy) from Jolly Pumpkin, Schlafly, OíFallon, Unibroue, Stone, Dogfish Head, Bear Republic, all the local and regional breweries, and many others. A ton of Germans, Belgians, and countries I wouldnít expect to see sections for, like Australia. There arenít many super-rare beers but a surprising number of top-notch brewers are represented. This place also has all the accessories you might need for binge drinking. Iíve been here three times, and the staff has ranged from very attentive and helpful to nonexistent, the latter unfortunately being when I brought Shawn (shawnm213).

An awesome beer store in Bellevue, KY just over the river from Cincinnati. First of all itís a huge liquor store and the beer selection doesnít disappoint. There is a huge international lineup- basically they offer full lineups of all the international breweries you could want. Mikkeller, Beer Here, Amager, de Dolle, Nogne, 8 Wired, Moa, Evil Twin, djaelvberg, de Molen, etc. Basically a huge selection of international beers and not just 1 beer from each brewery but the whole lineup. It was pretty crazy. I have never seen anything like this before (not even at the top beer stores in the Northeast...from what I recall, Julioís pales in comparison to this place). They also have American beers but not as impressive a selection. That is probably their weakness. Prices are going to be higher just because of the imports. And to top it all off, there is a bar in the back featuring Ei8ht Ball Brewery beers and 30+ other international impossible-to-get-anywhere-else beers. Growler fills are available. A do not miss beer store in Cincinnati, but your wallet will be sorry the next day.

I swung by here with some time to kill and headed immediately for the back cooler. An expansive selection of local, regional and national breweries is available ranging from Mt Carmel growlers to Goose Island BCS to Bison and Sierra Nevada. One suprise was a growler of Stephen Fosterís Traditional Wheat which I would have picked up if I knew what shape it was in. Overall the selection and prices (no tax in Kentucky!) make this a must stop but be aware of the age of some of the beers outside the cooler area.

Very big place, but I only went there for beer, so that is what my rating was based on. No one offered to help me, but thatís ok, I knew what I was looking for. Decent prices and selection. I appreciate that they sell singles, which are stored in a dimly lit refrigerated walk in cooler. Slightly marked up from the six pack unit price. They were the first place that sold the Goose Island reserve series in singles. Worth a stop if you are in Cincy.
