Stopped in here after a visit to the Newport Aquarium. This is very close. Huge alcohol and party supply store. Quite a big parking lot and fairly crowded but the store is laid out great. Beers are clear to the back on the right side and there is a very long wall of six packs and bombers etc. Everything that is available there is also available in singles in the back cooler that is mind-blowingly cold. You also get 5% off if you buy a case or more. All hardwood floors and nice shelves with good spacing for the carts. This is a cool store.

I found this place purely by chance. We stayed in the Comfort Suites right across the street from The Party Source. We had chosen the hotel so I could walk to the Hofbrauhaus Newport that evening to get in a new brewpub on the way up to Cleveland and my eyes bugged out when I realized I’d stumbled upon a second beer find purely by accident. After checking out of the hotel on Thursday morning, Kim and walked over to the store to check it out. The place is huge and has a massive selection of wine and liquor and a quarter of the space is party supplies. The beer selection is small compared to the wine and liquor sections, but this is still an excellent beer store. Green’s in Atlanta beats it on selection, but this place beats out almost any other store in the Atlanta area, so it’s quite likely the best store in the Cincinnatti area. They’ve got singles in shelves back in the walk in cooler (the size of a small warehouse). Make sure to bring a jacket. This is definitely a must visit for beer stores in the area.

I am surprised at some of the comments here. The Party Source is the holy grail of beer/wine/spirits in the midwest. I have always found their service excellent, though I will admit at times you might have to hunt for someone. A simple solution - if you know you’re going to want help, go straight to the service counter up front. If you just want to browse, they’ll let you.
If you haven’t been lately, they’re just about to complete a remodel that will probably up the ambiance ratings a fair amount. The old lineoleum floors are being replaced with wood floors. The old "Beer cave" has been expanded.
It should be noted that Kentucky prices for alcohol include all sales taxes. This place is where it’s at!

Very big place, but I only went there for beer, so that is what my rating was based on. No one offered to help me, but that’s ok, I knew what I was looking for. Decent prices and selection. I appreciate that they sell singles, which are stored in a dimly lit refrigerated walk in cooler. Slightly marked up from the six pack unit price. They were the first place that sold the Goose Island reserve series in singles. Worth a stop if you are in Cincy.

A little like Walmart in that it is soooo big you’ll have to hunt someone down for service, but once you find them they’re helpful. They have everything you’ll need for your party except for the guests. OUTSTANDING beer selection! I don’t drink wine or liquor, but they have a tone of it too. I try to stop by every time I’m in the area.

Love going to this place when visiting the area. I have always found what I was looking for in beers, wine, and cigars. Great beer selection in both cold and warm varieties. Warm helps me especially since I have to leave town the next day or so and have to make it back home with some freshies. Love that you can get kegs there as well, wish I had one of these around me.

Not as good as Party Town for beer, but impressive still. Since its right across the river there is a decent amount of Ohioans going to stock up for their parties, which can make the place a little hectic at times. Walk in cooler section is nice, but seems a bad attempt at paralleling the non-cooler section.

Across the river from Cincinnati, this a excellent source of anything for beverage, cigars and party food & supplies. I go each Tuesday for the cigar tasting and pick single brews from their huge selection. They have a patio outside for events and you can drink your brews during the tasting. There is a six tap stand inside and they sell growlers to go starting at $6.99. Humidor is very good with great box prices. Shopping for beers and supplies here is a great thing.

This place is a supermarket for anything for your party, whether it be balloons or gourmet beers. The beer selection is awesome. I found some 5+ year old retired Rougues, imports, lots of Bells, and other Midwest/ Eastern regionals. I picked up a few Westy 8’s at a good price too. Easy to find at night, they have a huge neon sign on the roof that faces each direction with letters about 30 feet high. Open ’till 10 p.m.
