Tap Room is the best bar in PB, hands down. If you’re a beer geek, there is no other place that even compares in PB. Tap selection always features the best local brews, but keeps a good rotation. Their website continually updates everything they’ve got and the level to which the kegs are full, so you can see what’s on deck. http://www.sdtaproom.com/beer.html The food is bomb, the waitresses and bartenders are all super nice, knowledgable about beer and the music they play there is better than most bars in PB for sure. What a great place. A kijillion tap options representing the best of San Diego and also some out of the area options. Delicious pizza and burgers and friendly (and attractive) servers. Good lunch specials, a lot of seating. A website with live tap listings with levels in the tap...and on-deck taps (for that alone, it gets extra points). You know what you’re getting when you go there. It’s really a great place.

Sundays are one of my favorite days to spend some time with the family, as we were going out to look for a new place to eat and have a little drinks we stumbled upon The PB Taproom and it was the highlight of my day i will definetly be back!

Cool scenery. Beautiful tanned people rolling up on bicycles. Nice waitresses and waiters and door people. The garlic knots rocked, don’t know about the rest of the menu. Great prices on insanely fresh awesome beer. A must visit place in PB.

Medium sized place that was quiet on a Friday at lunchtime, quiet enough for the owner and staff to spend a huge amount of time with us explaining the beers, and how they get their hands on them. Comprehensive selection of local stuff, most of which I can’t get on the east coast. A great first stop on our beer tour of San Diego.

Great spot with lots of character. Pricey, but they had a ton of local things on tap and the service was very helpful. I didn’t get to try the food, but everything that came out of the kitchen looked great. I will definitely be back.

Came here twice- the first time I scored a bottle of Ken Schmidt Maui Stone Kona Coffee Macadamia Coconut Porter, second time I scored a Firestone Walker 12. Pretty good beers on tap, better bottle selection albeit pricey. Long winding bar seating, good pizza, busy, really friendly bar staff. At the end of the night we received a locals discount just for living in San Diego.

Great and extensive local brew selection. Casual beachy sports pub atmosphere, food and service is so so, but if your looking to try a few local brews this is the place to do it.

This place is the shit. I never come to PB, but found myself there today for a business meeting in the middle of a wed. afternoon. I didn’t really know this place, just remember from hearing 2nd hand that there was a decent beer bar in PB somewhere. Well, after my meeting, I lit a cigar and went for a walk, eventually stopping in front of this place with a sign on the door that said "belgian/sour night 6/17"..not knowing the date, I looked at my watch...SCORE! Anyway, not many people here, which is a good thing and to be expected at 330pm on a wed. Tap list was very nice...consecration, avery 16, pliny/blind pig, sourwench...they have little tap sections behind the bar that are separated by local brewery with 5 or 6 taps dedicated to each of alesmith, stone, ballast, port, green flash, strauss?..and a bunch of out of towner beers too. Didn’t have the food cuz I’m on a diet. This place is the shit...too bad PB is the devil.

Located right on the popular street Garnet a few blocks from the beach. Its a great selection especially for me because its hard to find a lot of San Diego beers in NY. Solid pizza, lots of TVs. This place was pretty busy everytime I went. Good looking bartenders, cool people, great beers and If your a regular they give you a discount!
