Well-stocked store with an extremely enthusiastic, if not overwhelmingly knowledgeable, staff. Terrific selection of imported and domestic craft beers. Nice selection of Belgians, gueuzes and lambics. Any six pack can be broken. Reminds me of the one and only reason I regret leaving the Washington/Baltimore metro area... selection, selection, selection.

This place is a hidden gem that I just discovered. The owner is a very nice and helpful man, and he said they just opened the store 4 months ago. Well, they are certainly doing something right! One of the best selections I have seen anywhere. Well stocked does not do it justice. The customer service, warmth, and enthusiasm of the whole staff were great. Many beers I haven’t been able to find elsewhere, including many rare styles. More imports than anywhere else in the area, and the craft selection is advertised to be the largest in the state. I believe it.

Definitely worth seeking out, the store is about 10% liquor, 20% wine, and 70% beer. Loads and loads of shelves with anything from Mikkeller, Cantillon, Struise and lots of local beers you can’t find anywhere else. Takes about an hour to assess what they actually have in stock and then another hour to finalize your purchase. It is the beer Shangra-La from the DC Metro Area.

Visited here awhile ago on trip back from Baltimore. Place has a huge selection, and you can take singles from most six packs. A guy helped me out and made a great recommendation on a porter that I really liked. If it was closer to me I’d probably go more. Solid prices to me.

An amazing place, worth traveling long distances for. Tremendous selection, well-organized, with plenty of beers found nowhere else in the area - you can tell they put a lot of effort into this. Staff was very friendly and helpful, had great recommendations, and willing to chat at length about the art of beer. This place made my day.

A great place to find bombers or try some new brews. The staff has always been helpful and willing to offer suggestions. A good wine and scotch selection also.

Wow this is an awesome store. Massive selection of imports, regionals, and locals. Every Mikkeller imaginable. Epic from NZ is there. The best thing about this store is that you can break any 4-pack or 6-pack. Could have spent $400 on beers I have not had. Too bad I can only fit so much in my suitcase. Hopefully I have time to make another stop. Service was great by the way. One of the staff came out an handed me a Mikkeller 10 unsolicited. Top 2 or 3 bottle shops I have ever been to.

Ambiance: Well-lit, extremely organized (almost obsessively), lousy muzak. Service: Outstanding. Staff was friendly and clearly knowledgeable about beer. Seemed to have some wine experts too. Even the cashiers were nice. Selection: Probably second only to State Line Liquors in Maryland. Saw a ton of stuff here I’d never seen anywhere else, and quite a bit of the stuff I’ve gotten from the Rare Beer Club over the years as well. All countries and states seem to be represented. Food: NA. Value: Pretty darn good, especially when you compare it to some of the bottle shops in and around DC. Overall: Clearly the best bottle shop in Maryland. Yeah, State Line might have a little larger selection, but this place is cleaner, better organized, more centrally-located, and there wasn’t a mullet to be seen. Worth a trip. Pair it with the nearby Kloby’s Smokehouse for some post-shopping barbecue (and they have 20 rotating taps, too).

Great place. Huge selection of mostly premium beers. Everything is organized well and there are descriptions next to many of the beers. Staff is friendly and helpful. The selection is very good, but most of the beers are nicer, so if you are looking for some cheap options you won’t find too many. They also have a great selection of scotch and bourbon. Possibly my favorite beer store ever!

easy to get to as its just off of 175 and 1-95. The beers are in the back and sort of organized by amercan beers on the back wall and foreign beers on row of shelves that are alsonear the back wall. lots of cases everywhere though. beers are mostly kept by brewery so its easy to find. and they have helpful rating markers touting certain beers. Staff was extremely helpful once they saw what i had already picked out and offered me many other choices saying if you like this you will also like that..etc. I will diffidently return and make it one of first choices for finding good beer. great selection of seasonals
