05/05/13 Evening Visit: Located in "The Little Five Points" area of Atlanta, which makes for some very interesting people watching. Long and narrow when you first walk in, but there is more room in the back. Draft/Bottle/Vintage list was very impressive. I enjoyed draft selections of Sofie Paradisi and an IPA from local Monday Night Brewing. I do wish they had more local support on their taps. The food was excellent as well as the service. I started with the hush puppies and had the Kraut/Beer brats for my main course. This place is definitely one stop shopping for excellent food and beer selection. I personally prefer the ambiance and the area of the Brick Store Pub, but if you have never been here this place is a must visit.

Deceptive narrow storefront - much bigger in back. Excellent selection of drafts, and a huge list of bottles. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Small food menu but very tasty.

Instantly fell in love with this place after my first visit. Hip place with the typical drab decor and dim lighting. Fantastic beer selection goes without saying. Skimmed the tap list that provided good variety, but I spent my entire evening choosing treats from the vintage list that offers up a large number of rare, highly rated beers. Food was pretty good, but certainly couldn’t stand up to the beer offerings. For the rarity of the beers, I found the majority of prices to be pretty fair; expensive, but fair. Can’t say enough good things about the service. Takes a while to get beers from the cellar, but they were awesome in allowing us to order 4 beers at last call and stay an hour after closing to finish them off. Highly recommended.

Definitely a Little Five Points bar. Long and narrow, decorated with old luggage. The soundtrack is punk heavy. Tap handles are all generic black knobs except the one pink pony tap handle that has nothing to do with beer. Incredible selection, although I wish they did a better job representing the Georgia brewers.

My neighborhood gastropub. I don’t often stumble home, but when I do; my trail leads back to the Porter.

What a great bar, al though more like a restaurant in interieur. Great beer list on draft and bottles and a staff that knows their beers. I really want to go back there.

Cool small bar in a neighbor hood that kind of had and San Francisco vibe to it. Anyway back to the bar which is long and narrow. Ton of nice taps and some very cool bottle selection that was on the pricy side. Drafts very a little expensive, but they had a tap selection located with hard to find beers so you are paying for rarity a little which is fine in my book. Food looked and sounded great. Must stop.

This is one of my 2 favorite beer bars, the other being Brick Store Pub. The beer list is out of this world. The Little 5 Points neighborhood is very unique and an interesting change of pace for those that live in the vanilla suburbs, like me.

Totally my favorite hole-in-the-wall bar in all of atlanta. Amazing mac’n’cheese. Really solid beer selection. Authentic belgian feel. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Tucked into Little Five Points, this beer bar is worth seeking out among the funky boutiques. Interior is not too brightly lit, giving a feeling of coziness. The front seems small, but the back has plenty of tables and booths for large parties. The rough-hewn tables and rugged wooden chairs assure you that this is an informal, laid-back place where you can enjoy brewskis with your friends. Beer selection is amazing - over 100 in bottles, and 28 rotating taps, mostly micros and craft brews. Service people are helpful and friendly. Food is quite good and not too pricey - their organic bean burger is delicious. A wonderful tavern, I hope this becomes an Atlanta fixture.
