Best creftbeer place in Temple Bar and probably in Dublin (although time did not allow me to get to Kavanagh’s). I love the multiple levels and all the nooks and crannies. Great live music was playing when I was there. The beer selkection is the best I found in Ireland...N. or S. The best part though was the people...it might be redundant to say how friendly the Irish people are...but if it was somehow possible...they were even friendlier here than at any other bar I visited in Ireland. There is definitely an appreciation for craftbeers in The Porterhouse I did not find elsewhere in Ireland as the craftbeer culture seems like it is still catching up to England & Scotland. The Porterhouse is worth a special visit...and repeat ones after that.

Wow a tip top bar. Clean nice and full of both the Porterhouse beers and ones from all over the world. A top beer selection with beers from everywhere. They had more German Hefe Weizens than 98% of the German bars have. And that just Hefe’s. Five Weizen Bocks. Local beers without an end. Food and service are both very good. Thumbs up!!

Absolutely fantastic place in Temple Bar. Nice decor of copper and beer bottles. Highly crowded in evenings. Nice tap selection, bottle selection is also good. Place to visit when you are in Dublin.

I sat at the bar, just chatting with the bartender who knkew his stuff and who loved his beer. It was the best experience I had in Dublin-even better than my first EVER Guiness at the storehouse. The beers were great and I found it charming that they didn’t serve Guiness at all, perhaps the only place in the entire city. They had over a hundred beers not from the porterhouse. I loved this place, and would definitly recomend it to anyone making thier way through Dublin.

This was first pub we visited and one of the best for the week long trip to Ireland. Grat service even though it was packed on Saturday night 3 March. Their beers were all above average. The Plain had the most creamy head in Ireland. The afterwork platter was more food than four could consume. The prices were the best we experienced. This is a treasue when visiting Dublin.

well i thought this place was awesome. i think 4 or 5 floors, a nice change up of beers also. i loved the atmosphere here, allthought it was a bit crowded it was good to have something other than guinness in ireland. didn’t get to try the food. my only complaint is that it was a robbery to pay 5 euro a pint ($7.50)!

Visited over St. Paddy’s weekend. Huge four- or five-story pub with free live music. Loud, but hey, it’s popular. Incredible bottled beer offering plus 10 of their own brews, which I highly recommend trying while you can. Excellent melding of beer lovers’ selection with social pub atmosphere.

Awsome place in the Temple Bar district of Dublin. A few blocks north of the River Liffey. Great selection of good house brews. Decent food. Often has live music.
