Great variety of their own beers plus a pretty good list of bottles. Food was great. Very helpful staff. This would be a good find anywhere, but in Dublin... it is salvation for the beer geek.

Very crowdy, very noizy, ugly music playing live. Ok selection on tap and cask - most are the usual Porterhouse line-up, but some foreign craft beer as well. The bottle selection is 50 percent decent imports, 50 pct mainstream - which very much sums up the feel of the place.

Tough one to rate, do you go on past glories or recent let-downs? I went in between. Iíve had some great times here, mostly because of the company I was with, but it IS a beautiful place thatís easy to have a good session. The quality of beers has gotten so-so at best, and the service has gotten pretty terrible too, which used to be very very good. Overall its still a great place to meet and have a few, but theres too much competition that has grown up around the Porter and it hasnít kept up, simple enough.

Right in the heart of Dublin,The porterhouse is a great pub with local brews and some nice bottle list.I cant say i enjoyed their beers though the awards on the wall were telling me different. Its one of the places you have to visit in search of local ales when you visit Dublin.

Great place, with amazing interior decoration. Service is rather fast and the beers selection is impressive, especially on tap. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dublin ! And itís really well located, in the center of the city.

Best selection Iíve seen in Dublin. Quite good too. Should be something to drink here if you want something you havenít had. Got to feel sorry for the bar staff though. Every second person who walked in asked for Guinness. Respect that they donít sell it

A once leader of the craft beer scene in Ireland, The Porterhouse has fallen massively from grace, an okay tap line up and very average (to below average) food, the interior has seen better days and the staff no longer seem to care or have knowledge about what they are serving (in fairness, a couple of them still do). Their own beers are now very middle of the road at best. A shame.

The Temple Bar home of this brewhouse is the most central of its various outlets and is located on the corner a block after the riverfront. Itís decor adheres to that of most of the other bars with its predominantly dark wood design, decor and furniture. A very full range of Porterhouse beers exist here along with an excellent bottle selection behind the bar. Packed and busy all the time but offers some craft beer away from the standard selections most bars have. Hefty prices.

nice centrally located place with their own beers ... very often packed but still a nice stop.

Large range of their own beers on tap and a nice selection of bottles, especially Belgians. Nothing rare.
