Court street bar, one of more than 20 bars here in the tiny town of Athens. Pub advertises the best burger, which is fine, its a tasty burger and their beer cheese soup is really the main attraction, I used to always scout the sign out front for it. Tap selections are marginal, unless its ohio beer week or immediately after.. this bar was usually filled with douchy guys but that only applies after 6 or 7pm.

I have been here many times. The burger is good, but the best for me is the beer cheese soup in the winter. The beer selection is average for a small bar, but they were part of OBW before it became that popular. They usually have something interesting on tap for OBW.

This place has the best (and I mean you can’t find one better for miles and miles) burger around. The owner and manager, Tom, is super friendly. Also, the self-proclaimed "Jack of all Trades" Ed is very fun and genial as well. The prices are fair, and the selection is what you would expect of a smaller, locally owned bar. Get there during the day, have a beer, have a burger, and enjoy the vibe. You won’t regret it.
