This was one of our target pubs on our London vacation and did not disappoint. Nice selection, especially on cask beers. At the time of our visit it was a Welch brewery festival with 12 additional casks on the pattio, really nice. Staff was nice and helpful, prices decent. The only downside is that it’s small and easily gets crowded. Best place in London in my book

i love the rake they always have a very good selection of beers people may find it a bit expensive but you have to pay those prices if you want the quality of beers they provide i have been a few times and have always had a good pint.

Good selection of British beers, European and some US. Small taproom, but you can also find a seat in the small "beer garden" outside. WiFi was working well at my visit.

Odd place at the Borough Market. The selection of cask beer wasn’t great but they seem to rotate them very often. I managed to try 4 different real ales on my visit (they changed one) and 3 of them wasn’t in good shape and I actually left my small glasses unfinished. Besides that they had some nice beer on tap and bottle and the staff was friendly. Only real downside for me was the low quality of the real ales.

Small and cozy beer bar tucked away at the back of Borough Market. They usually have some interesting British micros on draft, on my most recent visit they offered Purple Moose Myrica Gale. But there are also often international craft beers on tap, such as Nøgne Ø. The bar also have a vast bottle menu and a very knowledgable staff. One of my favorites in London. Visited: 2013-11-29.

Small noise and crowed place. Slow service. Small tap selection. Ok bottles selection but not much "new". Ok prices.

This pub was a real disappointment even though I had been warned that it would not live up to it’s ratebeer score. The very small room was way overcrowded and it took a long time to get beer. Noisy as well. The service was ok. The selection on tap and cask was limited in both range and rarity but the fridge saved the day. Since we had visited Utobeer earlier in the day, there was only a few new bottles for us, though. I’m not likely to visit again.

Visited here around noon on a Wednesday. Quiet as you’d expect with about 4 other people in. Love the beer garden. Range is quite good but don’t expect get anything rare or difficult to find except oddly for very new release Wild Dog beers. Good bottle selection of locals (kernel, Partizan, Thornbridge), Belgian lambics, US stuff like Ska, DFH, Stone .etc. Good service offering tastings and their opinion which is always pleasing. Cool little pub and will go back. Have been back many times here and service is hugely hit and miss. Sometimes fantastic, sometimes absolutely horrendous. Not very good at replying to emails either

Very small pub with 4 small tables and 2 or 3 barstools around each, Raining at our visit, so the garden wasnt a option. Looked nice though. Inside was a strong smell of chlorine wich wasnt to nice. Well onto the beers, qiute a nice selection of tap including 3 or 4 cask. A good bottle selection aswell, mostly consisting of US and Belgian beers. Nice service and good prices for the area.
