Classy place with an extensive gasropub menu...there was a roast day: delicious ribs and bulled pork, greens, black eyed peas. Beer list is limited but good, they have bottles sold by the glass (half price). Place was packed so ate standing up. Good place.

Definitely a gastropub. Upscale pub fare and bar selection, but not pretentious. Had a really nice lunch here and enjoyed chatting with the staff. Very focused local offerings. A must if you’re in the area.

CCB beers dinner with world class chefs. A unique decor give the place a nice cachet. Great and friendly staff, the overall atmosphere is laid back, yet professional and upscale. Beer selection is rather thin, but sports some good local beers and other offerings that you might not usually see on tap. It’s just great to see a nice place being so creative in their food menu and doing their best to use local ingredients.

The food is very good, but not mind-blowing. The selection of beer is decent, but certainly not huge. They usually have something from Cigar City on tap or available in bottles, which is a big PLUS. The atmosphere is a bit noisy and crowded, especially on a Saturday night. It’s a cool place. There is street parking available. Outdoor dining as well... I think. I look forward to visiting this place a few more times to see what the level of consistency is regarding their food. I’ve had terrific items and very mediocre items from their menu. Very creative nonetheless.

A classy restaurant, relaxed, fantastic food and a smakl craft beer menu they rotate a bit every month. Definately worth visiting for the food and beers. High points here ’cause the food.

My first visit to the Ravenous Pig was during the RBWG 2010... what a cool place!

This is a fancy place. Dim lighting, white tablecloths, dressed up servers and hostesses, the works. When you walk in there is a nice bar with many tables, and a separate room for private parties to the right (which we used). Very nice.

It could be because we were a special party, but our service was impeccable. There were waiters left and right catering to our every need, order, demand, water refill, or whatever we wanted. Really good.

The selection of beers is pretty decent considering it’s just a restaurant. Though they have few taps, they are generally good beers, and they do have several bottles to choose from as well. My first beer there was, in fact, from a bottle.

The food is AWESOME. I’m from Illinois, so I was instructed to get the shrimp and grits, and they were amazing. Also, you can’t leave this place without getting the fries tossed in truffle oil. SO GOOD. Wow.

The value is pretty good for what you get, I guess, but you have to know going into the meal that it’s a nice place and you’re not going to get out with less than a $15 tab for food or more, especially with brews to boot.

Overall, if you’re in Orlando and have a few bucks to burn and want a great meal with some good brews, you better stop here. Awesome place!

enjoyed dinner here during RBWG 10’ Nice place. Upscale without being pretentious. Really spot on food and a great tap/cocktail selection to complement everything. The mussels and fries were one of the best I’ve had.

I thought I had already reviewed this place. After hearing great things about this place, and wanting to go for the longest time, I finally did go last April for my birthday. The place was very busy on a Friday night. It was also much bigger and louder than I expected, but still maintained a little bit of an elegant upscale vibe. The food was pretty solid, the menu offers much more than your run of the mill stuff. You’d probably have the chance to try something here you normally would not. Good draft and bottle options. My wife got an Ommegang Hennepin on draft and I had a Swamphead IPA and Brooklyn Dark Matter. Served in the proper glassware, of course. Overall a good time and I look forward to going back.

Haven’t been for a while but every time I have the food has been outstanding, also the beer choices have been good for a restaurant. It’s always packed whenever I’ve been there, and always enjoyable, if you like pork, you’ll enjoy the Pig!!

Brand new (opened October 2007) upscale American Gastropub owned and operated by a husband and wife tandem of formally trained chefs. Beautifully renovated building sports a small bar with 8 microbrew taps on one side, with two large dining areas on the other side. The open floorplan is well lit by floor to ceiling windows at the front of the building. Friendly and attentive staff. GREAT, CREATIVE FOOD. They have a lunch menu, a dinner menu, and a pub menu (items available all the time). Menus will constantly change, as will the beer selection. Beers on tap when I was there: Avery White Rascal, Orlando Brewing Pilsner, Orlando Brewing Monk in the Trunk, Shipyard Pumpkinhead, Lagunitas Censored, DFH 60 Minute, Orlando Brewing Blackwater Porter, Left Hand Milk Stout. Nice to finally have a place in Orlando where you can get a decent beer with excellent food. I will be dining here quite frequently. Strong recommendation.
