Nice pub with decent selection of taps considering it’s Winnipeg. Appetizers are ok, and half pints brewery mainstays and seasonals on tap will definitely have me coming back for more.

I really enjoyed this restaurant and lounge. Pretty good selection of beers. A lot of taps. The location is not interesting, but you forget all that when you’re in the place and it feels like an English pub, with good beer and food.

I’m rating the lounge, rather than the restaurant. A nice range of taps including local microbrews. Nothing rare here, but then again, this is Winnipeg. Nice atmosphere and decent food.

A medium-to-upscale restaurant with a faux British pub attached. They claim to have the largest tap selection in Winnipeg, and since the Osborne Freehouse started scaled back their taps, I’d agree with that assertion. The beer selection is fairly macro-centric, but you do get the occational interesting guest selection (they had Big Rock’s Rock Creek cider on tap for a while last summer). The food is above average, but a bit on the expensive side. The atmosphere is relaxed during the week, but the place fills up on weekend evenings. Could do with a greater selection of micros, or even some less run-of-the-mill British selections.
