Little craft beer bar on the heights of Central, friendly atmosphere decorated with beer stickers and bottles. Best tap selection in HK including some of the top US and European craft breweries as well as a few local brews. The selection is nicely detailed on an ipad menu. Active rotation with lots of special events and tap takovers. Nice meaty food, including beef brisket and pigs in a blanket. The place can get really busy at the end of the week, but staff is always friendly and enthusiastic. Maybe a bit pricey but hands down the best craft beer place on HK island with the most interesting selection.

Updated review for the relocated tap-room in SoHo, Central; 08/07/2014
The new bar on the steep Peel Street in SoHo is much smaller but much more livelier as a bar. Lots of Amercian Craft Session IPA suitable for tasting at 1/2 pints or as 5-in-1 beer platters. ALso lots of hard-to-find Scandinavian and German bottled beer. A bit pricey as in downtown Central price, but given the wide selection on taps and bottle, it’s worth the money.
The only downside was their promotion for locally-brewed HK Crafts are too short, sometimes in less than a week so better catch their latest FB posting to be sure. I just missed the tasting promo for Nine Dragons beers. Damn it! Until next time.
(Original review for the old Tsim Sha Tsui tap room; 25/04/2013)
Used to be the former Official Manchester United Bar, this place is bar + resturant + beer shop all roll into one. What used to be ground floor beer shop + patio is now closed and moved to upstairs. Bottle beer’s selection is somewhat seasonal, but they do have some great craft brews from the likes of BreDogs, To Ol, and many other American / British micros. Nice and relax place to enjoy them, on tap or with hearty German / BBQ dinners, as bottle price are quite expensive and thety are better priced at supermarkets or online stores. Good place to chill out.

We visited this beer bar on 28.6.2014. It’s located very close to the Globe. They have a larger selection of tap beers, around 20, but less bottled beers that the Globe. Sortiment is focused on Hong Kong beers, they also have some Brewdogs and several Australian, US Microbrews. The bar is very small with a few tables. Food is quite good, they serve North Carolina barbecue - pulled pork, brisket, very delicious. The service was also very friendly. Overall a recommended place and a good alternative to the Globe.

24 all-craft taps and a constantly rotating selection. Lots of seasonal and otherwise rare imports, plus local brews.
Service is friendly and attentive.
Atmosphere is so-so. It feels a bit like a takeaway joint: small, bright, stool seating only.
Food is Texas-style BBQ. Very tasty.
Prices are expensive. Draught is HK$75 to $88 per US pint with a 10% happy hour discount before 8pm. That said, these beers cost a lot to bring in and rent in Hong Kong is a killer, so it’s not bad value.
Overall, the best place for craft beer in Hong Kong. Selection is never boring and there’s always something new to try.

Great place for beer lovers. They have a great selections from microbreweries from Japan, States and other European countries. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. They have an iPad app as their drink menu so you can find you beer easily, which I think is quite cool. Downstairs is a beer retail shop which I am pretty sure is the only one I’ve seen in HK. Will definitely come back for drinks.
