Sweden is closed on Sundays, but fortunately this was one of the places that stays open. Very full on a Sunday night, but still very comfortable. Staff was very efficient and friendly despite the crowd. Very solid and changing tap list. Tasty food, especially the burgers. Worth going out of your way for.

A rather small bar on the length where a few tables welcome people who want to eat. Nice little touches in the decor, for instance, you get to rest your feet on a railway track at the bar. Indeed the best spot in town. Very knowledgeable and beer-geeks friendly staff and owners, quick and efficient as well. As good as the service gets really. And the food I had was beyond your average pub grub. Apparently, the tap selection rotates very frequently though I could not acknowledge. The 20 or so taps include imports, with an english focus as well as stuff from the best micros which is fresh. Possibly the best US bottled beer selection in Gothenburg as well. Interesting bottle selection with stuff I had not seen anywhere else in Sweden, including Akkurat.

First stop on the RBESG 2006 pubcrawl. A nice selection of Swedish microbrews on the 20 taps - is this better for RBESG - or always like that? The bottle selection is OK both in numbers and in interesting beers. But inspite of the rather big selection, there was only 1 beer I hadn’t tasted before, but I could still go here, just to drink for fun. I find the rooms a bit dark, with a boring stone floor, but with nice dark brown wood panelling half way up the walls, so an average ambiance. OK service.

Quite enjoyably long roomed pub with a decent range of, mostly Swedish, beers on tap. Because of the coming redecoration, the selection of bottled beers were not at its best. In fact, all the remaining bottles would soon be on sale. Anyway, I got what I wanted from the taps and was pleased with the friendly service. Looking forward to visit the new Rover in due course of time (visited, 03.08.2010).

Thanks to rickgordon for introducing me to this place. Nice Belgian geared pub with a great beer selection. Was a bit smoky, but otherwise conducive to drinking, relaxing, and enjoying quality beers. Great Belgian selection and several fine examples of beers from Sweden, Czech Republic, and the UK.

I’ve been going since end of 2005, update my place rating every now and then. 20 taps where 10 of them change fairly often. Usually some Swedish micro beer on tap. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Prices are fair. Food is good at OK prices. The place I often go to for a beer. Lots of whisky as well. Can get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights, but the place is great always. Too bad they don’t serve "Raggmunk" any longer, but their burgers are among the best in town anyhow!

Small and friendly place where the beer is well kept and you are even adiced to stay away from some of the beers. Swedish micros and selected imports, for anyone not local, there are lots of new beers to try here.

Visited with Gnoff. Nice small Irish looking bar with good selection. Ate a delicious burger (ass on fire; which wasn’t that spicy) and price was reasonable. A few good taps, all sporting nice Swedish beers. Friendly staff. Place can get rather crowded and noisy, but overall experience was very positive.
