A quite small pub with a lot of beers. It tends to get a bit crowded but worth a visit if you want to try some new beers on tap. They also have a good selection of beer on bottles and recently some cans. Nice selection of whisky as well. The bar desk is recently extended for even more on tap :-)

Small, rustic place with a genuine atmosphere, can be very crowded at hectic hours. Staff is very service-minded with a god knowledge of beers. Excellent selection on tap, with an emphasis on Swedish micros. The bottle assortment has improved lately and is now very good.

A rather small bar on the length where a few tables welcome people who want to eat. Nice little touches in the decor, for instance, you get to rest your feet on a railway track at the bar. Indeed the best spot in town. Very knowledgeable and beer-geeks friendly staff and owners, quick and efficient as well. As good as the service gets really. And the food I had was beyond your average pub grub. Apparently, the tap selection rotates very frequently though I could not acknowledge. The 20 or so taps include imports, with an english focus as well as stuff from the best micros which is fresh. Possibly the best US bottled beer selection in Gothenburg as well. Interesting bottle selection with stuff I had not seen anywhere else in Sweden, including Akkurat.

Pretty good place, not an amazing selection... but good enough to please most. The 5 micros on tap were good without being outstanding. Staff were friendly. As with any Swedish bar, would have stayed longer if not for the prices. Worth visiting.

Good selection of Swedish micros on tap and US micros on bottle. They have about 20 taps, 5 or 6 of them are gust taps. Very nice staff. If you only have time to visit one pub in Gothenburg you definatly should go to The Rover.

Their staff - Niklas and Pelle - is super. The best place in Sweden to get Swedish micros on tap I suppose. Lots of other interesting beers too like American micros. Must when visiting in Gothenburg. Also if you like whiskey. I heard that they will change their name to "Bitter End".

Friendly, helpful and pretty knowledgeable staff (the guy let us in before opening time one day). Really good selection of swedish micros and a pretty good bottle selection which the barman said used to be bigger but had been streamlined. Had some Venison with mashed potatos for lunch which was damned nice with my Girardin Kriek (or Guardian Kriek depending on whether you speak spazzy). All round a pretty good place.
