Friendly, helpful and pretty knowledgeable staff (the guy let us in before opening time one day). Really good selection of swedish micros and a pretty good bottle selection which the barman said used to be bigger but had been streamlined. Had some Venison with mashed potatos for lunch which was damned nice with my Girardin Kriek (or Guardian Kriek depending on whether you speak spazzy). All round a pretty good place.

Friendly atmosphere and very good service form the staff. Nice selection of swedish micros on tab and an interesting selection of bottles.

First stop on the RBESG 2006 pubcrawl. A nice selection of Swedish microbrews on the 20 taps - is this better for RBESG - or always like that? The bottle selection is OK both in numbers and in interesting beers. But inspite of the rather big selection, there was only 1 beer I hadn’t tasted before, but I could still go here, just to drink for fun. I find the rooms a bit dark, with a boring stone floor, but with nice dark brown wood panelling half way up the walls, so an average ambiance. OK service.

Quite a selection but the real treat is the owners Niklas and Pelle who makes you feel welcome and works their way around the bar with jokes and quite a lot of knowledge about beer.

The best beer place in Gothenburg!!! The owners works closely with swedish micro-breweries. There is no other place in gothenburg that has more darkbeers on tap, sometimes more than 50%. The service is excellent and personal, they make you feel at home.....

It´s a place for people who are interested in beer, duh. And for those who only come for one beer. Niklas And Pelle, the owners, really welcome you and they may be the most friendly pub-owners in the region. They enherited a big stash of belgian beer from the previous owners that they are trying to get rid of (rellay cheap - good prices). I think theese guys will make this a great place of their own. They really care for the swedish micro-breweries and small american brewerier - as well as all other good beerproducers! Niklas and Pelle are the best buddies yoe have ever had - you just don´t know it yet...

I visited the place on a Friday night when it was quite crowded but the atmosphere was friendly and the staff was fast-working and provided excellent service. A good variety of beers with lots of Belgian beer and some interesting local specialities. Tasty food that served well as a complement to the beer.

It is a cosy pub with a nice selection of cask, keg and bottles. They regularly change their guestbeers. Visited the pub once more during RBESG-06 and had a nice dish. A really nice place with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Two returns in the summer of -08 confirmed my impression.

Cosy and friendly pub/restaurant with a dedicated and very knowledgable staff. Local hangout on weekdays, much more crowdy in the weekends. Good food.
