Great food! A pretty good selection on both tap and bottle. Prices are ok. Good service.

New: This place has been remodeled and expanded since my last visit a couple years ago. It’s lost a lot of it’s charmimg authenticity and feels more generic/corporate now. On the plus side the tap lineup is even bigger and better than in the old days, with a strong focus on local breweries. It’s still a great place to chat with freindly strangers.
Old: My favorite beer bar in Sweden! Friendly, low-key place that feels like a bar rather than a restaurant. Expect to spend the evening chatting with the locals. Selection when I visited was heavily slanted towards hoppy beers, in keeping with the times in which we live. Good selection of Swedish beers plus a few oddballs from Denmark, US and UK. Not too crowded even on Saturday night. Burger was good.

My favorite place during my visit to Gothenburg. Well displayed, eccentric and intriguing tap list. Found some very nice, new Nordic breweries and beers. Some interesting imports too, including Pilsner Urquell Unfiltered and some strange American beers. Great staff, nice bourbon selection (three bottles of Pappy) and the kitchen comes highly recommended by my local chef friends.

Visited twice over my weekend in Goteborg, firstly on Friday 21/03/14 around 4pm and again after Sunday lunch around 3pm on 23/03/14.
On Friday the place really began to full out with an after work crowd but the bar maintained a good service level, on Sunday post lunch it was quieter but still doing a good trade.
Lots of wood in here, walls, floors, some breweriana. Bar as you enter - 32 taps, quite a few (7/8 ?) had changed in the 48 hours between my visits. The taps were a good mix of Swedish micros and International numbers from the likes of Brewdog and Mikkeller, although the prices were on the high side for the latter compared to the UK!
Service was good and knowledgeable.
There were a couple of plug sockets dotted about to charge mobile phones with which proved useful.
Overall a solid bar with a great tap line up and good atmosphere.

Good selection of Swedish micro on both tap and bottle. Not sure what I think of the interior, but it is rather cozy and a nice place to enjoy a beer or two. Well worth a visit.

One of the very best bars in Goteborg. There is a great selection of 30+ draft beers from Sweden, the UK, US and the rest of Europe. They even have the unfiltered Pilsner Urquel and the last time I had that was in Pilsen in 2005! The bottled selection is rather good too. There is plenty of seating and the service is excellent. There are plug sockets on the wall by most seats so that tickers can re-charge their phones! The only minus point was that the wi-fi didn’t work at all. I understand that it generally doesn’t work and this was not a one-off. Time to fix it guys, but otherwise I can’t fault this place.

Visited in November 2013. Very nice place with a great tap selection. Quick and knowledgable service. Decent prices. Very crowded on friday evening, but when I came back at opening on saturday it was allot less crowded, to bad they don’t open earlier in the day. :)

I really liked the places outside where you could watch all kinds of people walk by.
(You can even see them on the tiny picture). I havent tried the food, but the beer selection was great. (if you can afford it, but I guess that’s normal for sweden.

My personal Gothenburg favorite. A quality pub. Ambiance is good. Service is great. You can usually find a big array of beers at fair prices. Scandinavian, UK, Belgian, Czech and US offerings on the taps supported by a medium sized bottle collection.
