60 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 JFGrind (77) Glenside, Pennsylvania | May 28, 2007 Six Pack store is close to me as well, four blocks from my home. I go there from time to time, usually for growler fills. 95% of their business must be budmillercoors but the owner does cater to the beer geeks with craft beers. One fridge full of singles, you can make your own six-pack for around $11. Three drafts available for $10-$13 growler fills. Service can be spotty, a few employees would rather ring up six-packs then fill growlers. If you are looking for growler fills call ahead and ask what is available. |
72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 stegosaurus (34) Levittown, Pennsylvania | April 3, 2007 This store is close to where i live, within 20 minutes. Lots of macro brew in six packs, but a case and a half of singles that is always rotating i have seen (arcadia, middle ages, dogfish, avery, russian river, south hampton, summit, westmalle, rochefort, left hand, lagunitas, green flash, st. bernardus, jolly pumpkin, jacobsen, allagash, as well as others ) stocked in these cases at times. They also recently added three taps that you can grab a sampled from as well as fill growlers i have seen (pliny the younger, southampton double white, lancaster dopple, and allagash double ) on these taps so far. Good place to stop into time from time, because you never know what you are going to find. |
