One of the better Spoons around. Large conversion, 2 floors. Popular with locals and definitely a traditional Spoons crowd in here.
The beer range is interesting and quite often has something unusual on cask. A good place for local brews.
Visit it now and again and OK but wouldn’t make the effort unless I’m passing

Two floors with a balcony hole looking down onto the main ground floor area. There are two bars as well but the main selection, including two rows of real ales is downstairs. It has a major wooden furnishing with paneling across the walls, and a red carpet makes it feel very warm and cosy in the traditional manor of this chain.

An above average Wetherspoons pub located 10 minutes south of Croydon town centre. A worthy stop when trying to find elusive festival ales. As with other Spoons expect very good value, well kept beer and unusual characters lurking around. I would avoid the food if I were you..... A decent pub all-round, but still nowhere near as great as the other Spoons outlet in town - The George.
