Located in the heart of downtown, this place is the most convenient bottle shop to hit if you donít have a car and are staying downtown. They had some Golden Doesjel when I went, which was a nice surprise find. Other than that, they have a good selection overall and friendly staff. Worth a stop when in the downtown.

Decent beer store in downtown Victoria. Has a great Belgian selection - stuff you usually canít find elsewhere in B.C. to my experience. Some Drie Fonteinen and other lambics. Friendly staff. Prices are definitely on the high side, especially for European imports.

located downtown near the harbor and within walking distance of both the Marriott and Doubletree. Definitely an upscale wine store vibe which is nice since everything was clean and brighty laid out. Not a ton of single selection but they had a lot of locals and it was clear there was an editorial point of view to their selection. Some of the imported American stuff was off the charts expensive but they did discount if you bought more than six and the Belgian and Scandinavian prices were quite good. The staff was friendly and happy to talk beer. A pretty nice find.

Nice store and open late. As to pricing, I couldnít tell, not only was I pretty drunk while shopping they gave me an industry discount, which I appreciated. Not a beer geek in the place but that late mid week I donít blame them. They did have a pretty decent selection, but nothing compared to what i am used to on the mainland.

Dark and clean, modern store with a better than average beer selection at the rear. I popped into this seemingly best victoria beer store in the hope of finding Driftwood products Iíd not seen in Vancouver. Unfortunately, that was not the case although I was told the ESB had just run out. I ended up not being terribly impressed, but I guess on the island, there are not many places with 100+ craft beers for sale. The selection still had quite a few BC microbrews and since many of the best breweries come from the victoria area, there were plenty of those, but nothing I had not seen in Vancouver.

Pretty decent place right downtown. Small store with lots of wine and spirits. Beer is in the back. They have plenty of locals and some nice imports. Some people complain about the pricing, but when a 4 pack of Old Rasputin is $23 in Regina and only $12 here, I canít complain with you. Lots of beer in the coolers and more on the shelves. It was pretty cool to see the craft brews before the generic macros. I bought the following. Sierra Nevada hop torpedo x2, Salt Spring porter, Green flash imperial ipa, Pyramid thunderhead ipa, Howe sound total eclipse of the hop for $40 something.

Long and narrow layout, with the beers at the back, some in a wall-cooler, and some displayed like fine wine. Decent enough mix of local stuff and imports, but some of it was pretty pricey. Staff were okay, but I got tired of hearing the girl at the counter bash French Canadians!

Expensive, but really nice selection of local, BC and west coast beers. They also have a very nice selection of Belgian beers that I have not seen anywhere else. Their selection of east coast american beers was ok as well. Several dogfish head and brooklyn beers were also to be had. If you are looking for something different you canít go far wrong here although you will be paying a premium.
