What a great find the Townhouse is! This was our 2nd craftbar on an 8 day tour of the Maritimes from NJ. It was really accidental in that it was late in the afternoon and we were driving from Hopewell Rocks to Sydney. My wife insisted we find a place to eat before Sydney...and I reluctantly agreed...not expecting to find anything great. I pulled over...got RateBeer on my iPhone and literally stumbled across this place due to the dumb luck of the first reviewer’s post being placed only one day prior! The ambiance is great...the food even better...this is a true gastropub. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner who also discussed his nano brewery just waiting for some government paperwork before opening. My good fortune was that they had a really nice selection of Maritime beers on tap (Propeller, Big Spruce, Granite, Garrison, Pumphouse). The owner said that even after they are making their own beers they will continue to reserve a couple of taps for other Maritime beers. All in all a great find...a great experience found moslty by luck. Love the people here...love the outside bench type long picnic table for drinking beer and watching life go by. Don’t miss this place...worth going out of your way for!

Another great little bar, soon to become a nanobrewery in a few months. They have 8 taps of Maritime micros, decent prices, a great food menu, with upscale options, friendly service, hope they succeed with the nano.
