This was my go to spot when I was in school at the UC. Back in the day, they always had Three Floyds for cheap, pitchers of everything. They would get interesting one offs and just plain a great place to go for some beers. Food is questionable, but I can’t wait to go back, it’s been too long.

This spot on the University of Chicago campus is actually only open to UoC people and their guests. Nonetheless, it’s a welcome beer spot in an otherwise bare Hyde Park scene. It’s downstairs in an academic building, with a cool vibe. Two dozen beers on tap, including some tasty locals. A couple pool tables, a foosball table, some music and nice low lighting. A really solid beer/dive bar.
