I think they have summerholli day. They have not all beer and the beer was served by a arrogant bartender. This place is not a place for a lady.

I love the Wharf. A Cask approved pub a few yards away from the Limfjord Bridge, in one of my favorite places, Aalborg, in the best country in the World, Denmark. I go here as often as I can, often skipping going home directly to my home in Skagen when I go on vacations from Norway. This place has an AMAZING selection of British and Irish beers. I can not stress how important it is that you go here, if you’re even contemplating heading to Aalborg. I never leave disappointed.

My first visit here was back in 2008. In those days The wharf impressed me, but not today. Friendly service and a information folder about their beers on tap. But, most beers are what I will call "the usual suspects", both keg, cask and in bottles. When they offer three Hancock beers on tap, this is for sure not a dedicated craft beer bar! Nice little place that was surprisingly empty when I visited on a Saturday evening. Room for many cask ales, but only three of them on.Decent price level. Decent German,Irish and English keg beers on.

Lots of taps - BUT the usual suspects. Hancock, Fullers, Westmalle, Lindemans, Weihenstephan. They dó serve Cask Ales but otherwise hére is nothing really. Overrated!

Long bar with casks at the back. However only four open when visited ( too few!). Friendly but far too busy staff.

Very interesting selection but when I was there business and thus atmosphere were quite.... dull.
Seems to have only 3-4 ales on at the time. Fine as they then are very fresh.

If cask is your cup of tea, this is the place. Good selection on tap, something for everyone. Good allthough a bit slow service, due to too a bit high customer/staff ratio.

Modeled after the traditional pubs of the UK, the Wharf epitomizes the comfy neighborhood bar. They’re one of the only places outside the UK with the Cask Marque certification for properly serving cask ale, and their primary focus is on traditional UK cask beer. They have several on tap at any one time, and keep them in impeccable condition. If cask beer isn’t your thing, they carry about two dozen other beers on draft, plus bottles of Cantillon and Trappist ales. The atmosphere is cozy and down-to-earth, and the barstaff are friendly and chatty. (The owner can get irritable sometimes though.) They carry food from a restaurant down the street, as well as some nice bar snacks. The Wharf is not just an excellent beer destination, but a good "home away from home" for the expat barfly or foreign visitor.
